We booked a bike ride tour of the French Quarter and Garden District for the first day of our trip to New Orleans. It was the PERFECT thing to do to get the lay of the land and know what to go back to if we found something interesting. Jeffrey was a WONDERFUL guide. He was extra cautious for everyone's safety, knew A LOT about New Orleans, and was funny and very interesting! We would HIGHLY recommend doing this! We got to see and learn a lot of New Orleans in just a few hours all the while burning calories!!!

Great way to see New Orleans. Best of the French Quarter and Garden district. Beautiful bike ride. Excellent guide - Jeffrey. Nice pace. Great city overview with historical information. Definitely recommend.

Excellent tour with Betsy on the eBike Creole tour. We were able to see more of the city and she did an excellent job sharing recommendations that allowed us to go back and experience those places.
We loved the eBikes so much that we went back and rented them two days later to revisit some of the places we rode past.
Service was great and location convenient.

Jeffrey was the best guide/owner/encourager/storyteller for our bike tour. It was an amazing way to tour the French Quarter and Garden District and he did a great job of keeping our small group together and safe. We could have listened to his stories all day...but unfortunately, the tour had to come to an end. So I guess we'll book another one of his tours to keep the fun going! I would highly recommend to everyone...book the tour now!

I loved seeing the city by bicycle! Great if it’s hard for you to walk/stand for long times. That being said, biking through the city is not for the faint of heart. Lots of traffic in a large city. Once were we in the Garden District though,we were fine. Nice stop at a bakery about halfway through. You are not required to wear a helmet, but you do have to sign a waiver when you don’t. Bikes have big comfy seats and are fitted to your height before you start.

This was the perfect thing to do on our second day in NOLA. Jeffrey, our guide, was not just a tour guide but a legit historian and author filled with knowledge about a city he not only resides in but truly loves. We learned so much about the art, architecture, music and food of the true New Orleans, the world outside of Bourbon Street, created by the melting pot of immigrants who made this city their home. If you are in New Orleans for any amount of time, this is a must do. Thank you, Jeffrey, for an amazing tour.

our tour guide Betsy! she was very informative, knowledgeable about the area, friendly and patient with all the riders. we stopped several times and learned alot. this is not a ride for exercise, this is a history tour, we had good weather also.

Major highlight of our weekend getaway to New Orleans was the Creole Electric bike tour! Loved the electric bikes so much fun - we covered so much ground and Jeffrey our tour guide was so much fun! He was so knowledgeable on the history and community and absolutely loves his job and it shows!! We had a small group of eight and he was very attentive and entertaining. This is a must do when in the city!

Is the age limit tied to size? I have a 10 year old but he is very tall (about 5 ft 4 inches), probably the height of some 12 year olds. He has done bike tours in Washington DC and Los Angeles with contested traffic. Would it be possible for him to tour with our family of 5?

Not that I am aware of...but best to ask them directly as it's probably a matter of insurance....the riding is super easy as there are NO hills in NOLA :) Great trip and you learn alot about the history and current state of New Orleans. Have fun! Sandy

I dont think they allow anyone under 12 on the bike tours and the complete crescent tour we did was about 3 hrs.
We stayed at the Omni in the french quarter on royal st and it was walking distance for us -- several blocks. Try GPS from hotel to bike shop, thats what we did to estimate distance

Hi,
We have a single trike available for rental with a child seat attached. Our tours are about 3 hours long with a break stop in the middle. The minimum age for tours is 12 except for private tours. If you would like to rent or set up a tour feel free to give us a call between 9am & 5pm central time.

We are coming in August with my in-laws. My husband and I took a tour with you last year and loved it. Do you have options for people who have never really biked before, like tandems or trikes or training wheels (for my mother in law)?

Hi,
Glad to hear you had a great time with us and are coming back to New Orleans.
Because we travel through some busy city streets those options generally do not help much. We are currently experimenting with a Trike maybe even electric but so far nothing that we are ready to use. The only good answer is to have her do a bit of riding before the trip and see if she feels comfortable enough to ride with a group on city streets. We would not want her to be able to enjoy the tour as much as you did.
Give us a call the week before and we will update you on any new options we may have worked out.

Our tours are $50.00 per person and the best way to get the tour and time you want is to book a couple of weeks in advance. You can check out our tours by going to our website; BuzzNola. Com and if you press the book now button you can find out what's available and book it. You can also call us at the office between 9:30 and 5 pm everyday except Wednesday and we can answer any questions and get you booked.
