We took our teenage son here while on vacation. We loved it! It was so fun, we went back for a second time the next day!

We did the Inventor’s Attic. Really awesome experience, from the check in, to the lobby (which had a series of puzzles to do while you wait!). There were puzzles we did that were very different from any I’ve done anywhere else, and the production value was super high. Highly recommend.

We had so much fun! I think everyone that visits NOLA should visit Escape My Room. We were a group ranging from 13 years old to 60 years old, and every single one of us loved the Jazz Experience we participated in

From the unusual entrance to receiving instructions from our attendant Fio (he was wonderful), this was an escape room experience to remember. The ambiance and decor were amazing, and the puzzles challenging but not impossible. I went with my adult son, who is a big fan of escape rooms, and he said it was the best overall experience he had ever had.
I have done escape rooms maybe four times, and this was the best by far. I would definitely go back if I am in New Orleans again.

A beautiful, unique escape room you must make time for during your visit to New Orleans. The experience starts from the moment you walk in the front door. I don’t want to spoil anything but the entrance experience may be confusing to people who aren’t expecting it so I’ll just say trust that you are in the right place and be ready to interact with your surroundings right away, as it is not a typical “lobby” entrance. I wish I had gotten to spend more time in the “lobby”, though, as there was so much to see and do in that room alone. All of your surroundings are elaborately decorated and immersive. The puzzles themselves are varied and you’re not just unlocking a series of combination locks over and over. My group did the Jazz Parlor. Half of my party had never done an escape room before and they loved it and our group managed to escape (barely!) so it didn’t feel too easy but it wasn’t impossibly hard either. It is not a horror-themed room but there are definitely some “startling” elements that may catch guests by surprise. Our game master Topsy was pleasant and helpful the whole way. Arrive early for your game so that hopefully you can check out the lobby and definitely use the bathroom before starting your game! New Orleans is lucky to have this unique escape game experience.

We did the Mardi Gras room. Fio was our attendant and his character made the experience even more fun. We had four people in our group and were able to solve the puzzle with a few hints. Escape My Room is worth your time and monetary investment.

We did this as a fun activity. However, we did not have the thinking skills to escape. The girls helped us with the clues and were so sweet. It would be great for younger folks.

Escape My Room has the most immersive escape rooms in New Orleans. From beginning to end it is a wonderful experience, I have done all the rooms they offer and can’t wait for a new one. The puzzles are creative & just hard enough. You will not be disappointed!

Our recent trip to New Orleans would not have been complete without our experience at Escape My Room. The facility is amazing and dripping with ambiance. From the moment we (my wife and two boys 10 & 12) walked into the building to the moment we left we were completely immersed. The room we did was the jazz room which proved challenging but doable thanks to the perfect subtle guidance of Lazlo who was fantastic. A perfect host and guide. Attentive and helpful without giving us answers but just enough to nudge us along. Lazlo rules!!

Hi, I wondered if it's possible to do the escape rooms with just two people? I don't mind sharing if other people book the same slot, but myself and my husband will be visiting the area next week and would love to try one of these rooms. (I don't mind if it's too difficult to complete with just two, we don't have the best track record at escaping anyway!)

Not necessarily. There are 8 tickets for each room for each time slot; if other people have tickets for the same toom at the same time, you will be grouped up with them. If you really want to be by yourselves, you can buy all 8 tickets for the room, but that can get expensive!
