我们来这里和最后一个旅游公司的以下。 有一家三口都是法语的人所以导游和老板交谈的西班牙语和法语的他们。 幸运的是另一个人能讲流利的英语和西班牙语从旅游公司为我们翻译所以他而且他也给了我们一个更小的一个地方的历史和该地区因为他以前去过那里。 我们学到了很多关于墨西哥的历史和巴拿马的区域我们还在土著人员安顿在那里的历史。 历史文物的一切都只是太好吃了。 我还会再住在这里的。 在旅行结束的时候有一个奶酪品尝奶酪的店里做的是群组上还有果酱和所有的真是棒极了。 火山国家公园和可看的也是非常的棒。

我读过很多评论谈到这个地方有多棒多棒和导游,所以这也是我所期待的那种。 我们到酒店的时候遇到了一个十几岁的女孩在我们只会说西班牙语和一大堆狗。 我说西班牙语,所以我跟她说她有很多植物和一些艺术品。 然后她就给我们指了路上的,说我们可以付$1每人在旅行快结束的时候,走进里面。 我们步行走遍了没有标记的庭院（标志用正确的方法去会有帮助）,穿过很多竹子扶手 - 更少的桥,和地上的一个偶然发现了一个铺满。 有一个标题描述是在西班牙有结束的时候。 我朝房子去看是否有更多的但是它真的看起来像一个客厅的房间里,所以我们要离开的时候就开始在车里和这个女孩走出来在走廊上,所以我们多花了一些钱请她去四处看看。 也许她根本不知道自己在做什么或根本就不在乎这一天。 我们离开的时候看了几个事情之前我们看过的评论,但是我们却不知道运行 - 小屋就在最后也。 到处都是植物真的很不错。 我们打算再给它一次一次又一次希望下次能有更好的经历。 也许有人会带我们以前去。 我们最小的孩子是没有什么问题2和散步。

Archeology of Volcan

A greT place to see the archeology of the area of volcan, the host is the farmers family, they have a great knowledge about their plces. I really enjoy my cisit because I love archeology, history and anthropology, I learn a lot of about the place and they answered all my questions.

Worth the stop!

Little known, so interesting, what a hidden treasure. Really just stumbled into SItio Barriles and the wonderful Edna, born and raised on this farm. An archeological site which was wiped out by the volcano, little is known about these people. Petroglyphs, artifacts, and dig sites abound! Edna knows so much about the animals, plants, and water in the area - all so interesting. Well worth the visit.

Muy interesante visita

Edna es la anfitriona que lleva a los visitantes por un viaje cultural hacia los primeros pobladores humanos de Panamá. Interesante historia y visita a los vestigios arqueológicos. Y todo ello por un precio más que atractivo. 3$ nacionales y 5$ internacionales. De verdad que vale la pena.

mooie natuur, geen archeologische site zoals we elders kennen

je kan hier komen met de bus vanuit Volcan. Het opgravingsgebied ligt bij een huis, er is geen toegangsgeld. Mooie wandeling door de natuur, veel aanduiding in het Spaans. Op het einde vroegen we waar de keramiek te zien was. De sleutel werd gehaald en het kamertje werd geopend. Enkele mooie stukken.
Panama heeft geen geld te besteden aan archeologie

Amazing site

Sitio Barriles is an archeological site of a culture erased by volcanos 2000 years ago. The site is privately managed. They have guided tours in English or Spanish lasting 1h30. You learn a lot about plants and the people from Barriles. Were they Mongoles with African slaves? Exhibitions among other of a map on a big stone as well as elefant drawing.

It has been the second time I was there and I liked it a lot. Very friendly people.

Price for the guide USD 5.
To go there follow the blue sign in Volcán on the left side of the road some hundred meters after the road to Cerro Punta. After some KM the site is on the right hand side.

More history than you ever imagined

This is the best walking museum you may ever take. Edna has so much knowledge of not just the archeological artifacts and their findings but also of the plants and ecology of the area.
You cannot go on this tour without learning more about history, culture and local nature. Who would have ever imagined artifact proof of both Chinese and African peoples in Panama around 3000 BC?
It really opens more questions about ancient folks to attempt to piece together the travels and influences they had.
