A well organised and well stocked venue. The staff was efficient and very helpful, with a good dash of humour with customers.

It's a very expensive ski school. They charge 135 euro for 1 hour of private lesson. The teacher even repeatedly asked me for a tip afterwards. Even tough I payed for her Coffee.

I was blessed to have my private lessons with Libbe and Patrick (advanced ski level). Their expertise and passion for skiing is contagious. Both were extremely professional, dedicated and patient. They were always kind, respectful and a lot of fun, be ready for their extra special surprises with their signature exercises and adventures.
My two nephews were blessed with Javier and Mats. As absolute beginners they made them fall in love with skiing. Their very professional, caring, kind and patient attitude made the kids feel extremely comfortable and talk all evening about their experience in the snow and look forward to their next day.
Last but not least a BIG thank you to the team on the ground (in Kaprun and at the Kitzsteinhorn station, Robert, Thomas and Mads) who set an example of excellent customer service. Always kind, fun and respectful and always there to leave us as happy customers.

We had an amazing week in Kaprun - with some late snow. Booked some group ski lessons but as it was just the two of us they turned into private lessons. Our English instructor Alex was great! Fantastic knowledge of the mountain and local area as well as a brilliant instructor who got us skiing red runs in just three days! Would highly recommend him and the ski school, hiring was also easy right on the slope to maximimse time skiing and they responded to my email enquires very proptly, all in all a great week. Thanks to Alex and the team..we'll be back!

Before you read any further, the teachers are PERFECT! They would get 10 out of 5 dots on Tripadvisor. An ode to the teacher GUS!!!! What a really good teacher. He taught my son so well during the two days that he had lessons that he was able to join us on the slopes afterward! If I had to give the ski school itself a star, they would get at most 1 star, but that has to do with the policy and NOT with the employees. I also had contact with Lieke on the slopes and this young lady is also more than suitable. Both young adults are truly a calling card for your company! Would hire them immediately as a ski school.
The annoying thing about this ski school is; asked in advance whether there were enough registrations for a full day and this was the case. After 2 days, people stopped because the children did not like skiing, so there were 4 children left. The ski school sees this as "private lessons" so you only have 2 hours of lessons instead of the whole day and therefore cannot ski yourself.
A normal day is from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM and then you can let your child eat for 17.50 during the break that lasts until 12:30 PM. They then resume classes until 2:30 PM.
After two days our course was halved, so we stopped and only got 85 euros back for the remaining 3 days. Strange policy! We bought our ski passes ourselves because we could ski all day instead of taking turns, this joke by the ski school cost us a lot of money and I would never book with them again.
Apart from this story, one day we met a gentleman named Ritchy, who was friendly but also had some unclear moments in communication. The last day we went to rent shoes because my son's shoes broke. We met a gentleman of Belgian descent from Ghent. This man was really super inhospitable! Everything you don't encounter in Austria...... Really a jerk of a guy.
Customers who come in are not greeted, if you ask something you are looked at strangely or barked at. While we were waiting, I saw several people raise their eyebrows. Super shame! In any case, we will never come here again, which is a shame because we have been coming to Saalbach as a family for 50 years and I have been coming to Saalbach for 30 years now. My son is 5 and otherwise we would have sent him and any future children to this school for years to come, but unfortunately.....

Just finished two afternoon private lessons with Jeppe, haven’t skied in the last 10 years so wanted to refresh what I had learnt before. Only skied once before so was very nervous. Jeppe put me at ease and I was confident that he would look after me. Was tricky snow condition which made it challenging but fun. Stacked it a couple of times but hey if you don’t try you never learn. Thanks for a great time Jeppe !

My teacher very good, kind, calm and a very sweet girl. I had Michelle Mathot and I am very satisfied with my 3 day private lesson. I recommend booking with her.

Deze keer ook weer buiten de schoolvakantie van Nederland naar Kaprun geweest.
Onze dochter heeft deze keer les gevolgd bij Ski Dome Oberschneider. Vorige jaar had ze les bij Ski&Snowboard Kaprun. Toen had ze met een paar andere kinderen uit Duitsland les van een Nederlandse skilerares.
Deze keer kreeg ze jammer genoeg geen les van een Nederlandssprekend persoon. Ze zeggen dat de kinderen wel Engels al begrijpen. Na de eerste dag in een groep met wat oudere kinderen werd ze de tweede dag in een andere groep gezet.
Hierin zat ook een Nederlandse jongen en wat kinderen uit Engeland.
Ook hier kreeg ze weer les van een jongen uit Denemarken of Zweden die alleen Engels / Duits sprak. Na de tweede dag was mijn dochter niet blij meer met de lessen omdat de communicatie lastig was. ( Kinderen zijn toch bang om Engels te spreken als ze het nog niet zo goed kunnen.)
Verder werd er weinig geoefend, het was vooral skiën achter de leraar aan. Die ook weinig met kinderen communiceerde om te vertellen wat ze beter moesten doen. Ieder geval was dit met de Nederlandse kinderen.
Op de vierde dag na de ochtend les is onze dochter maar gestopt met de les. Kreeg de opmerking dat ze beter achter mijn kon gaan skiën, want daar leerde ze meer van dan alleen maar achter een skileraar te skiën die niks vertelde.
Het is jammer dat de skischool niet gewoon een Nederlandse skileraar voor de klas zet, want die zijn er genoeg. Die speken ook meerdere talen! Verder is het ook fijn als er echt lesgegeven wordt en niet zoals nu alleen maar skiën zonder goede uitleg.
Mijn vrouw heeft ook les genomen, alleen ging zij pas maandag beginnen met de les. Ze had 3 dagen les genomen, maar na de tweede dag bleek er geen derde dag mogelijk te zijn omdat de groep al op zondag begonnen was en er geen andere groep was. Dit is wel opgelost met een privéles, maar het is wel handig om dit gelijk bij de boeking van de les te melden. We boekte de les bij de skischool in Kaprun zelf.
Volgend jaar maar weer eens goed kijken bij welke school we les gaan nemen!

We hired ski equipment and were not given adequate support in trying on boots. Poles were the wrong size and had to be changed the next day. Booking equipment online is confusing as it's not clear where to pick it up from.

Katastrophale Verhältnisse & Quantität vor Qualität.
Skilehrer konnten kein bis gebrochenes Deutsch. Nachdem dies mit der Geschäftsleitung kommuniziert wurde, kam nur ein patziges "Früher ging das auch so" und "beim Skifahren geht es mehr um Zeichensprache.
Skilehrer war pädagogisch nicht in der Lage den Kindern etwas beizubringen.
Der Betreueungsschlüssel sollte laut Angaben 1:4 sein. Es war im Endeffekt 1 Skilehrer für 12 Kinder zuständig.
Skilehrer kam an einem Morgen eine halbe Stunde zu spät. (1 Tag Skischule in der Gruppe 2x2 Stunden = 100€)
Nicht zu empfehlen!!!
