Das Museum hat leider nur mittwochs geöffnet. Die Entwicklung der Bahnen und damit des Skigebiets ist interessant. Wir konnten auch gut einen Bezug zu unseren Urlauben in Ischgl seit 1976 herstellen.

About the history of the cable ways in Ischgl. There are plenty of old photographs to illustrate the progress of trasporing the skieers.

I'm glad I made the effort to visit this museum, which is only open from 4-7pm on a Wednesday. They've illustrated the development of the area from the very early times up until the current influx of skiers, and it's backed up by some great photos. Some of the translations from German into English need a bit of work to imagine what they mean, but not a big issue.
