Our six-year-old would have stayed all day! Proper imaginative, interactive play space. Go grocery shopping (or be the cashier), check your family's eyes at the opticians, or work at the post office and deliver mail to all the other businesses.
"Museum" probably isn't the right name for it, but it's an amazing space. In the basement of the Armory building, so lots of places to refuel afterwards!

My kids are three and five years old and this place certainly hits that sweet spot, particularly for the five year old. I think any kids older than 7-8 would be bored. They have a myriad of dress-up areas as well as educational toys.

A must see for the kids. I was hesitant to go but it ended up being a top activity of the weekend. We spent about 3 hours there and I think my kids could’ve spent a lot more time there but we had another activity we had to go to. My kids are 2 & almost 4 for reference.

Words cannot express how AMAZING this place is! If you take your children anywhere during a holiday or weekend away you MUST go here. We are from Australia and we don’t have anything like this place back home. It was amazing and our son hasn’t stopped talking about it since.

My kids, 6 and 8, spent hours in this museum on our recent visit. The imagination spaces have wonderful details like working stage lights in the theater, the blow dryer in the pet hospital area, and the camp ground in the nature area. My kids especially loved being able to create their own art projects using recycled materials in the workshop. Highly recommend for kids 10 and under.

My family visited in the fall and were grateful for the numerous interactive activities to choose from. A great time to come in from the brisk weather and see our young kids engage so enthusiastically. Really hope to visit again soon.

혹시 저처럼 조카들을 반나절 떠맡게 되신 분들은 이곳을 고려해보시는것도 좋을거같아요. 액티비티도 충분하고, 아이들이 진짜 좋아합니다. 입장료도 저렴.

Took my toddler last May here, and he simply loved it! The little supermarket, post office, and cafe were a big hit! The toddler was also fascinated with COG City and Sound Transit. We stayed till closing time.

Researched to come here with my 4 year old whilst on holiday, the website looked interactive and engaging, with lots of activities to do.
Staff very friendly upon arrival, we all managed to receive military discount.
However, the displays are tired and dirty, no actual explanation of what there is to see/do.
The rooms seem very confused, especially the “houses of the world” this want even interactive, everything is kept behind perspex screens
Cogs of the world-what is this exhibit even about? Just golf balls flying everywhere for no reason.
The role play side of the museum was however, good, but again, lacking in some interactive qualities.
I wouldn’t recommend this museum to anyone, don’t waste your money

Our 4 year old grandson had a blast at the children’s museum. We went on a Tuesday morning and there was no wait time at all. He got fully engaged in all of the activities and had a great time. He had a lot of fun getting his vision checked, wearing a firefighters, and had fun painting. After 2 hours, we took the elevator to the Armory for lunch.
