This cathedral, whose entrance is free, is located near the Vecchio bridge is definitely worth a visit because you can see different chapels. In each chapel there is an altarpiece and it is beautifully decorated. Very pretty to see and very well liked

The cathedral of Bosa is massive and imposing; it stands in a beautiful location in the historic center of the village between the river and the castle. Characteristic and clearly visible are the two domes covered with colored majolica. Notable on the sides of the altar are the two statues of Saints Paul and Peter.

It cannot be missed because of its glazed domes. There is little distance to see the facade. The “busy” interior decoration is nevertheless interesting.

As with any Italian church, not without interesting features, but is undergoing significant interior renovation as of mid-2023. I expect it to be dazzling when the works end.

Very beautiful but under construction when we went there.

We came upon this cathedral by chance just by passing by and poking our heads through the door and we are glad we did as it looks like an unimpressive and plain building from the outside but inside it has stunning artwork and interesting architecture. It is just a shame that there was not much information to read about the cathedral.

Questa cattedrale sorge nel centro storico di Bosa ed è stata costruita su una chiesa del XII secolo. La particolare posizione lungo le rive del fiume Temo, in prossimità del più antico accesso alla città costituito da un ponte in pietra, rende davvero suggestivo lo scenario complessivo, che offre una cattedrale lambita dalle acque da un lato e sovrastata dal Castello dall'alto.
L'interno è a navata unica con cappelle laterali e copertura a botte lunettata, mentre il presbiterio è sovrastato da un'altra cupola.
Alle spalle dell'altare, impreziosito da sculture e intagli, si dispone l'abside, di notevole profondità, con coro ligneo.
