We are very sorry to see the bad publicity that local tour operators are setting up for this area of Sardinia that could be very pleasant. The restaurant/pizzeria on the beach is very expensive and the food is poor. The bathrooms impassable because of the dirt. Finally, concessions will be released. The skyrocketing prices, considered the 25 euros for two chairs and an umbrella, not young to the image of Sardinia. In all Italian regions our island is considered too expensive not only for transport, but also for the prices proposed by all tour operators.
Unfortunately there are few aware consumers in Sardinia; reading the reviews of the last period, you can share my statement.
In a review three years ago the price turns out to be 15 euros... how is it possible that it was increased to 25?
Everything else (kind to the reception... I believe!) is boring.

Wide beach and clean sea. Lunch at Le limose kiosk, honest prices but rating 5. Apart from the really nice staff, everything else is very mediocre. Bath impractical. Dirty, smelly and with spiders in it.

The last time I was there in 2019: large beach, fine sand, often crowded but with wonderful water. The sea is not immediately deep. I used to go there often

A great sea. Clear seabed and suitable for small children. For those who want can have fun with the aquapark of inflatables, accessible by swimming (for 1h the cost is € 10 with life jacket). There are establishments but also free beach. Parking 4€ full day.

It is years that when, my wife and I, stay in Tortolì- Arbatax, we go to the beautiful beach of Orrì. Always in the same bathing establishment: Luca baths. Owners very kind and helpful to please customers. Good prices.

Another beautiful beach in Sardinia. White sand, crystal clear sea, characteristic rounded rocks.
There are various areas with sunbeds and umbrellas at fair prices. There are areas for free beach. Parking at 0,50€ per hour. Uncrowded beach that allows you to relax

We spent a nice day at the beach, with all the amenities you need.
We stayed at Maty beach, a clean and well organized bathroom, umbrellas and sunbeds all at the right distance, super clean beach very kind and friendly staff. We had lunch at the MIMOSA kiosk right at the back of the Maty, very nice staff, Lucia a Superstar and Alessandra really professional and of incredible friendliness. Small negative note is starà the fregola with clams, I must be honest, we did not like it, it was tasteless, without a soul, and being in Sardinia I can not fly over the fregola!! Culurgiones instead good, as well as sausage and chips, a little less the cutlet ..... but we must also keep in mind that we are in a kiosk ... I will have to go back next week, and I will taste more, only then I will give a definitive culinary judgment. For the rest, I absolutely Recommendation, both the kiosk and the bathroom.

con il maestrale il mare è un po' mosso ma essendo un fondale basso si può fare il bagno ed anche la spiaggia è praticabile

Ciao, io alloggerò a Porto Frailis, volevo sapere la distanza con il lido di Orrì, da google maps fa fare un giro largo di 10 km, ma ho sentito che c'è una strada costiera che taglia e sono pochissimi chilometri, chi mi sa dire se è vero e dare qualche dettaglio in più?

Ciao, noi siamo appena stati a Porto Frailis e andavamo spesso al Lido di Orrì.. la strada che facevamo noi che ci faceva spendere 5/10 minuti è abbastanza veloce.. si segue la strada per Tortolì e si svolta a sinistra dove c'è il supermercato Simply..dopodiché si segue la strada fino al semaforo e si svolta a sinistra passando su un ponticello ; dopo 200 metri c'è una rotonda dove si svolta nuovamente a sinistra e seguendo la strada arrivi in spiaggia.
C'è anche un percorso alternativo sterrato che ti dovrebbe far accorciare ulteriormente ma non l'ho mai percorso, ho solo letto le indicazioni poco dopo il Simply..

La normativa regionale vieta gli animali in spiaggia, ci sono per questo motivo le bau beach (spiagge per chi ha amici a 4 zampe, attrezzate per quello). Le norme non sono sempre rispettate, per quello troverai cani in qualsiasi spiaggia, però corri il rischio di essere multato da vigili o forestale e la multa è salata. Dovresti verificare se nel lungo litorale di Orri' c'è qualche area destinata, ma se non sbaglio, li non c'è, ma dovresti andare in qualche altra spiaggia dello stesso paese, credo che tu possa trovare info sulla Bau beach nel sito del comune.
