Fantastic is a word I would use. This place had so many activities that you could spend 3 plus hours here. There were many on hands activities so bring your hand sanitizer. We saw dinosaurs. Interesting scientists information. I would recommend ages 14 and up would enjoy this place the most . They did have a section for under five but it was small. There was also a section for teens which was very nice.

I probably have gone back at least 3 or 4 times so far. Me and my friend love coming back for the new fun events and every single time we have a blast! There are so many fun exhibits that we never have to worry about gaps between events, because we just tour around the main hall and revisit our favorite experiences. Such a wonderful, historic, incredibly informative, and super fun place.

This is always such a fun place to visit. I have two children and have brought them here for years, most recently they were 10 and 7. It's always been fun and engaging for them and us parents too. Great

This museum is amazing! It’s in an old train station so it’s really a cool building to begin with, but there was so much to do and see and really, really cool exhibits. It also is huge. There are several different sections and all of it is just amazing. I highly recommend

I enjoy stopping in occasionally, but unfortunately, this place is aimed at a younger audience. It's still fun to visit, but it's not quite meant for adults. Be careful with your timing, as school frequently do field trips here, and your visit may include a large amount of kids running around.

Museum seems mainly aimed at kids. Some interesting exhibits but a bit limited. Locomotive outside in former station was worth seeing but not well signposted.

While the museum caters mostly to children and has much interesting information, we found The Dome to provide adult-friendly presentations about nature and the cosmos. It was a worthwhile visit.

We only went for the grand kugel outside. Very cool, harder to stop and switch directions than we expected. Fun, street parking.

A wonderful museum designed to educate and entertain. Many of the exhibits are interactive and encourage visitor participation. Children as well as adults love this place. There are even unusual small animals. Elevators and ample parking make access easy. Very clean & well maintained. A small cafe offers a limited offering of drinks and microwaveable food & snacks.

I didn't see any designated picnic locations per se outside, e.g., picnic tables. Being in the middle of the city, the land surrounding the building is mostly concrete and parking lot - but there is a lawn and some greenery and there are some benches here and there where you could sit and eat. A previous poster mentioned a small cafe - but I will add that it was small, and when I was there in June 2018, there were signs posted everywhere stating that the tables and chairs were for patrons of the cafe only.
