After the first few minutes of practice with the guide, it was great fun! We went as a group to see several places and we had one stretch where we rode separately on a long, protected oval path for about 10 minutes or so. That was the most fun part! It was a terrific experience for all of us.

We had our first Segway Adventure with River City Segs early in June - and we are hooked. Nathan could not have been more kind and patient - and knowledgeable. The training was great - essential for confidence-building before you "hit the roads"....we did the River City Tour and it was great to tour Richmond that way. We were all in our 60's and made out just fine - can't wait for our next Segway tour!

My family and I went out on a tour. We had a fantastic time. Our age group ranged from 16-50. EVERYONE was smiling and talking about the tour for hours. Definitely a must do again! Sasha and Nathan trained everyone to ride the Segway with care and humor. We hope to be back soon!

A little worried and scared about doing it, but the guides are super friendly and patient. The obstacle course practice and video before riding make such a difference. The tour showed is sited we might not have seen otherwise. Awesome!!

Two friends and I took the Capital Tour with River City Segs and guide Nathan. It was so much fun. Even though we are residents of nearby suburbs we learned a lot. The training over the obstacle course was great. I was a bit apprehensive to ride a Segway but with Nathan's guidance I now feel like an old pro. The course really prepared us for the ride through downtown Richmond and real sidewalk conditions. Can't wait to do another tour soon!

I had some friends come to visit me from out of state so I decided to take them on a tour of downtown Richmond. I had heard from a friend of mine that River City Segs was a great tour and very safety oriented. My friend was 100% right. This company is awesome. They make sure everyone is comfortable on the Segway before leaving the building and do a good job of keeping an eye on everyone throughout the tour. As for the tour itself, it was excellent lots of interesting tidbits of history mixed in with a fun Segway ride. I would absolutely recommend this company to anyone looking to do a tour in Richmond.

This is an easy and relaxing way to see many of the features of downtown historic Richmond. We had a group of 15, most of whom were first timers on a Segway, who thoroughly enjoyed a 2-hour saunter through the area that featured the 300-year old canal, Brown's Island, Tredegar Iron Works, the Virginia state Capitol, et al. After a brief training session, everybody could comfortably ride the Segway and enjoy the beautiful afternoon weather and sights! Don't miss this opportunity.

Just did the Church Hill tour and I can not say enough good things about it... We will definitely do another tour soon.. Our guide Jeff had extensive knowledge of Richmond. I have to say I was somewhat nervous during the training course, but soon found myself very comfortable on the Segway. It was very affordable and like I said Can not wait for the next tour.

What a great day! Beautiful weather and a fun way to learn things about this beautiful city I never knew. Jeff, our guide, made our tour a lot of fun, beautiful sites and a learning experience. This was my 4th or 5th time and I keep going back for more!

What an awesome time me and my wife had with River City Segs. They had a great training area set up before we went on the tour. The training was great, it prepared us for everything on our tour. We went on the capital tour which was great seeing as the tour spoke much to the civil war and it is currently the 150th anniversary of the civil war. The tour guide was helpful and very knowledgeable. I would recommend this to anyone that is coming to visit Richmond!
