“Great range, wish it was closer to my home”

A good day out for the family

We went on a Sunday afternoon and just showed up and were complete beginners. Folks there were willing to give us tips but I would recommend taking the group lesson detailed on their website.
Staff were friendly and the facility is well organized. They provide everything you need including gun rental. We did not feel intimidated even though were complete beginners.
A good day out for a family with teenagers ( 15 to 19 )

Great range, wish it was closer to my home

Went to the 1:00 PM Sunday class a few months back. For less than $20 you get a class, group instruction, and a round of trap with everything included. I shoot a fair amount (pistols, rifles, and occasionally a shot gun), but just hadn't shot trap or skeet before. There were about 20-25 people they day I went and it's a good mix of people that attend; young, old, men, women. I hit over half of my targets, but a couple people didn't hit even 1 out of 25, so there is a wide variety in skill level. The staff are very friendly and willing to help new shooters.

Went back another time and am getting better, get over 75% of my targets after just a couple rounds. This sport is a ton of fun, just wish it wasn't over an hour away from my home. Going to invest in an over under 12 gauge of my own at some point, but it's just $8 to rent at the range.

This place is worth the drive and is great for first time shooters!

Take the class!

If your are a new comer to the spot or have recently made a purchase and would like to test out your wares, take the class. It's very informative and refeshes safety tips for tne expert and the novice.

Second time going, can't wait to go again!

I went my first time last month and even though I only hit one clay I had such a blast I went again, this time with my sons and they absolutely LOVED it!

My one son whose only shot a gun one other time, 7 years ago, actually hit 12 out of 25 his first time out and has fallen absolutely in love with it. He had such a great experience with the helpful staff and pure enjoyment that he feels as though this is a sport he really wants to pursue.

My other son also fell completely in love with it and can't wait to go again.

Truly a fun unique way to spend an afternoon with a very informative, helpful staff.

Facilities are clean. They are well stocked and user friendly. Lol, my only gripe is that I can see myself having to get a second job to afford this sport

First time was a blast!

Tried Skeet Shooting for the first time. Took my son and his friends 17-18 yrs range. They had a great time--staff was friendly.

What fun!!

We had a small company event that was so much fun! Everyone had a great time and the staff was awesome! The range provided us a room and tables for our guest that was very suitable and comfortable. This is a great place to let loose and have some fun! Every thing is provided if you don't have any equipment or experience!! Highly recommended for company events!!!

Something Different Lots of Fun for All Ages

Visited Atlanta last week and took Granddad and 2 kids (15 & 18) here to see how bad we were at shooting skeet. We discovered we were pretty bad but had an absolutely great time. Staff is present on the range to ensure everyone is safe and provide pointers if desired. Was able to rent, or purchase, everything needed at the range for a reasonable fee (gun, ammo, rounds of skeet, hearing protection, eye protection). The four of us shared one rented shotgun which worked out very well. So how bad were we? The best shot 13 of 25. But on a fun scale we all shot 25 out of 25. Highly recommend to diversify your experience while in the city for novices and experts alike.

What a "blast"

This is where the skeet and trap shooting competitions at the '96 Atlanta Olympics were held. It's a very pretty location in the country and not too far a drive from Atlanta. My son and I were there for Father's Day. Neither one of us had ever fired a gun before. The staff are very friendly and helpful. What made our day great there was meeting "John W" a local shooter who was super-helpful. He let us use his gun and he provided expert advice to my son. My son shot two rounds of skeet and went 9/25 and then 13/25 in hits. A very good first showing. All thanks to John whose expert advice was much appreciated.

Great Experience

Four ladies who had never shot a shotgun went last Saturday and had a great time. We were given a shotgun, ear protection, eye protection, and a box of 25 shells each. We had an excellent coach assigned to us and were given lessons on how to handle the shotguns and how to stay safe.

The private area we were assigned included pads for 5 people and an electronic trap machine that ejected the clay targets in different directions at different speeds and heights. One shooter at a time we had to call "PULL" and wait for the target, follow it, and shoot.

This place can be addictive! I can't wait to go back.

HINT: Be sure to tip your coach if they were helpful and you learned something new!
