1. Javier was great! Easygoing, well-spoken, friendly and fun to joke around with. He knew a lot about the houses and history of Inman park.
2. The food was delicious and it was a fun way to try out things and places you might not try on your own. We had pizza and the real hand-made dough makes others weep from imposter syndrome. Frankly, I’d eat the crust without the toppings. The flash-fried chicken wings at Albert’s are not to be missed and you don’t need any sauce, eat them as-is. The last tasting of gelato was yum. Way to finish the tour.
3. The walking - be prepared to walk for an hour straight. We did stops to discuss history and house architecture but it was a long walk. But don’t let that deter you because the tour is worth it. Plus if you’re trying to get your steps in for the day this tour will help you with that and work your legs. No gym day needed after this tour.
4. The scheduling, getting the tickets, confirmation and notification was simple and hassle-free.
5. ATL weather was bipolar all week and today was no different. Even if it says it won’t rain bring an umbrella or poncho. Javier thoughtfully brought some for the group. The rain didn’t let up until the tour was over, typical.
