All great, lovely village. It is nice to do any of its different routes: the waiting route, walking through the fishing quarters or the round of the lookouts. Any of them will not leave you indifferent. Also for 2 euros you can hire a guided tour in which they explain the culture, history and, of course, small stories of the village. All to repeat.

We were staying up top, so needed to take the steps down into town, and the steps back up. Gorgeous town scalloped against the hillside is over the top scenic. Lots of restaurants rimming the harbor, we enjoyed taking our time stepping down into town, enjoying a dinner and climbing back out to our hotel. One of the prettiest villages you’ll ever get to visit. Loved it.

It is a small and beautiful town, known for its shape like a Roman amphitheater and colorful houses facing the sea.
If you want to wander around it, be prepared to climb stairs and slopes, but you will find spectacular and super beautiful views, both of the town and the sea. There is a viewpoint called "the Watchtower" and then a walk towards the Lighthouse.
It eats wonderfully! Fish and seafood are very typical.
As in many other towns, there are letters where you can take a souvenir photo. They are placed in such a way that when the photo is taken, the town appears in the background.

The town is sensationally pretty and loads of atmosphere. We were surprised at the number of restaurants closed in September but the main complaint was lack of taxis. We had to walk the 2 miles up the hill to our hotel on 2 out of 3 occasions

One of the most beautiful fishing towns on the Asturian coast. You can't pass by without seeing it. Small colorful houses that form a picturesque photo in front of the river that enters the port.
There are many bars where you can eat and have a drink. Obviously, like any month of July and August, prices increase and so do the people who visit, so we recommend booking, especially in summer and tourist dates. You can buy seafood at an affordable price and also take a stroll through the cobblestone streets of the town. It has a viewpoint at the top where you can see the entire town.
To park you must leave the car outside the port, they have set up a fairly large public parking lot.
It is a port, there are no areas to lie on the sand or to bathe.... although lately there are people so uncivilized that they take to bathing in the port...

At the risk of being surprising, we found this village uninteresting and without charm. Plus in August, it's very busy.
Whether you access it from the top or from the Port, prepare to walk at least 2km. Fortunately they closed the center to tourist car traffic.
Restaurant-wise, it's Spain, so don't expect to find a restaurant open at 7 p.m.

We had high expectations with this town but the reality is very different, 90% of the houses are in a deplorable state on the verge of falling down and most are for sale, the town is very neglected and dirty, the port area is simply a set of restaurants for tourists, not a single decent hotel and the beach is conspicuous by its absence. If it is true that it has a decadent beauty due to the color of the houses and the sea, but little else, we will not return.

Cudillero un pueblo divino oculto por las montañas, después del gran aparcamiento público en el puerto te lo encuentras de golpe e impresiona.
Es para ir con tiempo si quieres recorrer sus calles,subir a los miradores y comer.
Tiene muchas tiendas y más restaurantes.
