We made the journey from Santoña to Punta del Laredo to go to the Battle of the Flowers of Laredo, as we were offered this possibility by the ticket manager (owner of the company) given the haste we had to get to see the parade of floats, since the next boat direct to Laredo was leaving an hour later telling us that to return by boat from Laredo we would have no problem.
Once the parade ended we went to catch the boat back from Laredo to Santoña, calling previously by phone, talking again with the attendant, since there was no open ticket office to catch the ticket back (it was 19:03 minutes), noting that when I went to catch the boat indicate that I wanted a ticket back and that I had made the way in the boat of the strut . The next boat was leaving at 20h and what was our surprise that the ship's attendants indicated that since we did not have the return ticket we had to wait for all the people who were going with a return ticket (there was a long queue and we were among the first ones), kicking us out of the line, indicating that if the boat was full we would have to wait to catch the next boat that left (the next one was at 21h and it was the last one there was). Finally when they had already agreed all the people who were in the queue let us enter charging us 6e the round trip Laredo-Santoña ( 30 € since we were 2 adults and 3 children ) when the price of the ticket Santoña-Laredo (round trip) on the occasion of the battle of the flowers was 8e adults and 6 € child .
We chose to go by boat to Laredo instead of by car to avoid traffic problems and it turns out that little else and we stayed in Laredo lying and with 3 children.
The round trip Santoña-Laredo was 34 € and in the end we paid 12.5 € one way from Santoña to Puntal de Laredo and 30 € one way from Laredo to Santoña .
We have felt very poorly treated and with very little empathy for a family traveling with their three young children, not counting the abusive price they have charged us for making the return journey.

The visit was spectacular. I have reduced mobility and took care of all the details to make me feel as comfortable and safe as possible. They calculated the tides so that I had to go down as few steps as possible, placed us on the bow of the boat so that I didn’t have to walk... Oh and the speech during the very instructive and fun journey. Thank you very much.

I recommend the tour. The landscape is wonderful and they tell historical, technical and popular data about the geography and history of the site. It is very pleasant, narrated with humor. It looks like a company staffed by very attentive kids, with a very different image from other excursions of this type.

The organization a mess. They don't even know what they're doing. They tell you they book it for you and then you go and you're not on the list. Solution, wait 1:30 hours for the next boat. Very lousy organization, do not understand that we are people who travel to that town to make the excursion.

Stunning boat ride to learn about the history of Laredo and the island of Santoña. The horse lighthouse and fortifications from the sea essential when visiting Santoña.

This excursion is very worth it. It is a way to get to know the Horse Jump from the sea, if you do not have time or desire to take the route to this lighthouse, which requires about three hours round trip.

Absolutamente aconsejable. Todo. El recorrido, la información dada, el guía fantástico. Una sorpresa muy positiva en todos los aspectos.

¡Una experiencia que recomiendo a todo el mundo! Es una excursión en barco super bonita, entretenida y divertida para adultos y niños; Alberto explica muy, muy bien todo lo que se va viendo en el trayecto, con chascarrillos incluidos. Vimos la playa de Laredo, la Punta del Fraile, el Faro del Caballo e incluso pudimos acercarnos a las cuevas ya que el mar estaba muy tranquilo, una visita absolutamente preciosa.
Al ir llegando a puerto de vuelta nos ofrecieron un sobao y un vinito dulce para acabar.

Además del entorno inigualable, el trato de toda la tripulación y el profundo conocimiento del narrador, sobre la historia local y otras anécdotas, hace obligada esta excursión, para disfrutar y aprender. Para repetir en cuanto pueda.
