It's the Place that Matters
2021年7月
The Visitors' Center left a lot to be desired in interpretation over fear of COVID. I liked the trail that runs from Lexington to Concord and found the stops along it staffed by NPS interpreters to be interesting. I was able to get the flavor of not only the British march to Concord but also the gathering of the Colonial militia and the subsequent retreat by the British with the militia men nipping at their heels. It would have been interesting to walk the road.

Historic Area with Bland Presentation
2021年10月 • 独自旅游
A vast park, so you can get plenty of steps in if you like. I stopped at a couple of places but didn't find the information or displays that intriguing.

If you schedule during g a time that a park ranger is giving a presentation / tour this may be more worthwhile....but that will depend on the ranger's skills.

Well worth it park within a lovely, historic town
2021年9月
We loved walking around and reading all the signs; being outdoors on a lovely day; and watching and listening to a live re-enactor shoot a rifle

Great reinforcement of things we learned in Boston
2021年9月
We had been in Boston the previous two days, and the things we learned at the visitor center supported / reinforced what we had learned on our walking tours. It's a small center, but it was enjoyable. Some of the other sites to see within the park are spread out - you have to drive to some of them (although not far).

Tour guides brought the park to life.
2021年9月 • 夫妻情侣
The National Park Service tour guides did a wonderful job explaining the history of the battle and old south bridge. They really brought the story and history to life. I would definitely follow tours guides vs exploring on your own.

Lovely Walk
2021年9月
Excellent historical park. The origin of the American Revolution. As in the British regiments and Paul Revere. There is a visitor center, interpretive guide walks, explanatory signage everywhere, and more. Walking the trails is wonderful - they go on for miles, are level, are well maintained, and aside from the rich history throughout you will see many people walking, jogging, and biking - a very popular area. Free.

Walking in history's footsteps
2021年8月 • 夫妻情侣
Spine-tingling to visit some of the places where the nation's history began. Many parts were flooded the day we visited, including the North Bridge, but it's still an amazing experience. I got chills walking in the steps of the brave folk who succeeded with their grand experiment.

Nice hike and history
2021年9月
Many homes were not open due to COVID. The film was not running at one of the visitor centers. The staff is very friendly and informative. The history was wonderful and the area very pretty. Would recommend the stop if you enjoy history.

Terrific Program about the Concord to Boston opening of the American Revolution
2021年5月
We attended an interactive presentation about the moving battle between British troops and colonial militias that occurred on April 19, 1775, from Concord to Boston. Ranger Jarrad Fuoss told the story in such a compelling way that we couldn't walk away! It was his first presentation of the season in late May, and it began at 2:30pm. He invited us to attend, but we said no - we would love to but we had to get lunch - we hadn't eaten and had been hiking. We stayed for the first couple of minutes and were still there at the end! He spun the tale vividly and engaged his listeners thoroughly. A super presentation.

A wealth of History
2021年7月 • 家庭
Stop at the visitor center and participate in a free tour given by the Rangers. They have an immense amount of history to share with you. They will walk you down to the Old North Bridge where you can also view the Minuteman statue. You can drive or walk the trails and see other things of historical importance like the capture location of Paul Revere. There is really so much to learn and see that you must visit.
