We spent the day in Frederick and so happy with our decision to rent bikes here! The bikes were so fun and everyone so helpful and enjoyable! Tour was fun and informative.. great way to see the area!! Highly recommend!!

Easy Way to Explore the Local Parks

We stopped by Pedego Frederick on a sunny Saturday. The staff person was just down the street at the bus lot, so we walked over to greet him. My partner and I got electric bikes - which came with bottles of water, a demonstration on how they are used, and a map with a proposed route. A two hour rental is fairly expensive, but it was a pleasant way to ride around Frederick's parks and neighborhoods. Two hours gave us time to see a lot of downtown and to stop for ice cream and coffee along the way. Be careful if you leave the bikes sitting for too long, the battery will go to sleep and you need to flip a second switch to restart it.

Paxton at Pedego was very helpful and ensured we were comfortable and prepared before we took off. The folks at the shop also called me later the same day when it became apparent I forgot my drivers license and I was able to go pick it up with no problems.

Excellent first e-bike experience

I 100% recommend Pedego electric bike rental as a fun way to get to know Frederick. This was my first time on an e-bike. A friend and I rented bikes for one hour; I recommend at least a two hour rental since e-bikes don't leave you exhausted like regular bikes :). The staff at this shop was kind and helpful. There is a lovely cemetery near by that is a safe, quiet place to get used to the e-bike before heading out to explore the rest of town. I am now a raving fan of e-bikes and considering investing in one for my own daily use.

Best way to see Frederick is on a Pedego Bicycle!

Mimi and Chris were very accommodating custom fitting my husband and myself with Pedego Interceptor Cruise bikes. Chris was an excellent orator describing the historical sites of Frederick. The bike is comfortable and easy to use allowing one to thoroughly enjoy the site seeing excursion. Highly, highly recommend this adventure!

Great "All Star" Business!

My husband and I were seriously considering electric bikes. I have R/A and a bit of trouble with my knees, not to mention that I haven't ridden a bike in 30 years, so a regular bike was out of the question. After much research, we found Pedego, and then Mimi and Todd. They were safety conscious with masks, and outfitted us with the perfect bikes. We're still getting used to them, but are enjoying them so much. Mimi and Todd were both so helpful in making sure we had the right fit, and all the information we needed, as well as any safety equipment. Todd has great stories to tell, and they're certainly an "All Star" Business.

Exhilarating experience

We loved the experience with Pedego Bikes-Frederick!
Mimi was very nice and responsive to our needs.
Scott and Todd were knowledgeable and supportive tour guides.
Please extend a special "thank you," especially to Todd for his patience and guidance. The good news is that everyone was safe, and fun was had by all.
It was an exhilarating experience for both of us!

Electric Bike Frederick

I emailed to reserve our bikes the day before, Mimi returned with a response within minutes to set-up our rental.We arrived on the 4th of July to a very easy process and clean storefront. Mimi took care of the minimal paperwork and Todd showed us how to use the bikes and answered all of our questions. Riding around in Frederick on the electric bikes was a great way to spend our day!

Great experience with very welcoming staff!!

My wife and I were looking to accomplish two things on a hot day, ride bikes around town and have a picnic in the park.

Mimi at Pendego was very responsive in replying to my email inquiries. I explained my plan and they told me that they would put saddle bags on my bike for my picnic supplies. This was very helpful as I no longer needed to carry a big backpack on a hot day.

The biking was fun. I ride a moderate amount, but I didn’t feel like having a strenuous exercise ride so the electric pedal assist was valuable. It’s pretty valuable on the streets.a

Great way to spend a day in Frederick!
