The Weinberg is a gem hidden in Frederick. We have seen numerous performances by some of the best dance, theatre and comedy acts in the DMV area. If you have not checked out the Weinberg Center it is a wonderful place to spend an evening.

Lovely venue and it was clean. Parking was good. It was clean, it was comfortable, it was just a nice experience seeing my favorite author.

Beautiful building, comfortable seats, tiered floor meant that we could see the stage even from the back.
The organizers were efficient and managed the crowd in friendly yet professional manner.
After the event, most of the audience waited to meet the performer and even this was meticulously executed.
A great evening - wonderful entertainment, lovely venue, flawless organization.

Recently saw JJ Grey and Mofro at the Weinberg Center for the Arts. The show was phenomenal. The theater was very nice. The facilities were good. The staff was pleasant and helpful. Weinberg is quite far for us for a show but we really wanted to see JJ Grey.

The Christmas light show was fantastic. Don't park in the parking garage, it took a half hour to leave.

Attended the Sinbad show. Theatre has a bit of history. My seats were in the balcony in row FF. View was ok but definitely wouldn't purchase tickets that far back again. The stage view was challenging even though the seats are on an incline. Seating space is cramped. Not much leg room. I wouldn't mind visiting again if I can get an aisle seat. Attended on a Sunday so street parking was free. I think the announcer stated that the garage parking was free as well. Definitely use the theatre's 10% discount at JoJo's restaurant. The food is delish (separate review).

We see several music shows a year at the Weinberg and are rarely disappointed. Check their on-line schedule and pick anything that sounds reasonable if you've never been. You will likely enjoy it.
You can also walk up and buy tickets at showtime or buy on line and get them at the will-call booth as you walk in.

We have attended many of the Speakers presentations since it's inception years ago, and will attend 3 of the 4 scheduled for 2020. It has consistently been very interesting, informative and overall enjoyable. The historical theater is well maintained and provides an excellent setting for the presentations.

A VERY ELECTRIC CHRISTMAS was a hit with both my 3 yr old granddaughter and 8 year old grandson this December. They had great seats with me in the second row of the mezzanine. The play was appropriate for all kids and entertaining for adults as well. Afterwards a few of the actors met them in the lobby afterward. In the past we have gone to see a Christmas Carol, also, well done, but a bit too long for a three year old. But, at 6, my grandson loved that too and was so excited to meet the cast afterward.
The theater has an old World feel. It is well maintained, has a bar for adults and not large. I love the warm decor and seating.
As my grandson commented during the play, "awesome!"

A beautiful venue from the days of silent motion pictures! The detail in the architecture is something not found today in modern buildings. The acoustics were nice and the view of the stage area unobstructed. We saw a musical performance of The Doo Whop Project and it was a blast from the past. Looking forwards to other shows in the future . The "save" was perfect!!!

Hi looking to take my daughter to see the Nutcracker this winter, she is only 4 so obviously short. Where would the best seats be to view the show and can I bring a booster seat for her? Thanks!

DINNER before a show - within walking distance?
I was looking forward to going back to "Olive's" which was a block or 2 away from the Weinberg Center. Went w/a friend & we left them empty dishes. Whatever we ate, I remember it was delicious!
Looking for suggestions for good tasting food before a concert (i.e. not real heavy, not fine dining, & not a sub/pizza place... although a good deli or diner is fine). I don't care about the alcohol there just the food. Thanks all! I'm not going until October 2018 so I have plenty of time. :-)
