A former Single A farm team for the Baltimore Orioles, the Keys are still entertaining to watch. Where else can you go to get a seat in front of home plate and hear the crack of a player's bat? Not a big stadium where tickets cost more than $50 a piece.
Although the Keys lost, it was a pleasant evening. The weather, which was boiling during the day, cooled off. We even got a pleasant breeze. Food selections aren't what you'd find at a big league stadium, but they were filling enough.
In the end, watching a game here is a pleasant way to spend an afternoon or evening.

Visited here after a day at Antietam Battlefield. Nice little ballpark. Clean. Free parking. All seats are good seats. Cheap tickets at $11 each. Biggest reason for my three out of five rating was concession costs. In my opinion, a ball park at this level (MLB Draft League) should not be that expensive to eat and drink at. We spent almost $70 on food and drink for three people, after only spending $33 to get in. Over $100 for a minor league baseball game seems a bit much. Ran into the same thing at Reading, PA earlier this year. Might help explain why the crowd was miniscule. Minor league baseball is on its way to pricing itself out of some peoples budget.

Treated the kids and the grandkids to a Saturday evening game and it was so fun. Going out to the local stadium is one of those things that you don’t realize how nice it is until you lose it. Perhaps we should all be supporting them a lot more. The crowd was sparse. The ticket price is reasonable (10 of us one for close to $100.) There’s extra activities for the kids. The food/beer is pricey but good- lots of choices. Our 5 year old grandson ran the bases with loads of other kids and was TRILLED.
I was impressed by how friendly and helpful the staff was throughout the whole night, particularly their teen staff. Take yourself to a ballgame, you won’t be sorry.

This is a great ballpark. Views of the field are excellent wherever you sit. There isn't a bad seat in the park The "upper level" isn't an upper level at all but part of the main seating area, with small staircases within the seating bowl separating them. The infield seats are plastic chairs and reserved seating while closer to the outfield are metal bleachers that are general admission. The Sky boxes are a two-story structure behind home plate that abruptly ends before the two dugouts, the rest is open seating. The concourse was wide and covered where the skyboxes are and open near the general admission area. There is one scoreboard and one video board, both of which appear a little dated. There isn't any outfield seating or concourse. In fact the stadium ends at the outfield wall, with the scoreboard being outside the park. Because it was extremely hot the Keys provided a free mist area for fans to cool down. The fans were into the game, which was slightly less than half full (extremely hot afternoon game) For the seventh inning fans were asked to shake their keys and most shook their car keys. I found this interesting because the team is named after Francis Scott Key, who lived over a hundred years before cars were even invented. But overall a great experience if in the Frederick area.

It was one of the nicer stadiums I have been to in minor league baseball. The have a small play ground for kids and some good food.

Harry Grove Stadium is now known as Nyemo Field.
This is a very nice family friendly baseball park.
They have kid friendly events like today’s Star Wars game with many Star Wars costumed characters and a special light saber giveaway. And they have other games featuring bobble heads, fireworks, and other fan friendly events.
Our grandson loves the kids play area with a merry go round, bounce houses, slides and kids games. You do pay extra for the kids games, but prices are okay.
Prices are reasonable for admission tickets and concession prices. Parking is free.
A truly fun, family friendly, affordable experience.

We go here all the time. Minor league ball is fantastic here in Frederick. Awesome sight lines from everywhere, they've changed the food options, lots of gluten free options for those who seek it, delicious food and lots of choices. Free parking. Staff is beyond helpful and welcoming. Stadium is conveniently located right off of I-70 at exit 54. To see the future Orioles, come out to Nymeo Field at Harry Grove Stadium. Perfect for the family, date night, or with a group of friends, this place continues to be one of the best baseball stadiums anywhere.

I cannot say enough about this stadium. The prices were excellent and affordable for a family. There weren't any bad seats in the place. I employees that we dealt with were more than nice. There was something going on with contests, etc in between innings. The kids got to run the bases at the end of the game and they seemed to have a great time. The night we went they had fireworks after the game, and let me tell you something, whoever directed the fireworks should get a raise. They could compete with NYC fireworks any day of the week and would win. My daughter actually got to take pictures with some of the players at the end of the game. GREAT JOB to everyone involved. Would definitely go back if we were back in the area.

Just visited Frederick, and an old friend I hadn’t seen in a while. We went to a Friday night Keys game, and had a blast. The boys played well, the food was good - what’s not to enjoy!

The was the first time I had visited this stadium in 10 years. Tickets for reserved seating was $15 as it was the day of event when bought. General seating is stadium seating and would not recommend. We sat in section 106. Until the game started at 6 it was covered in sun but other sections 101 and 103 were already in shade. Most sections in the 200s were all shade by the 5. I would recommend any of those places on HOT days. The concessions were local area businesses and charged higher prices than I expected for minor league ball. $7.25 for beer in cans. $5.00 for tap. It was neat to know that those players could be called up to the Orioles some day. They have a kids section so they can burn energy off during the game. In that section is a grassy hill. Kids go there with gloves to stand because a lot of foul balls that are caught get thrown to those kids. There were over 20 foul balls hit into the stands and out of the stands while we were there. So you must keep an eye out for balls so you do not get hit. Overall this stadium was cute and we will come again. Parking is easy with two lots to choose from and we had a quick time getting out. Less than 5 min. The fireworks on our night was a great touch at the end. Loved the giant light switch used to turn off the stadium lights to start the show. We had mobile tickets and they did not scan our tickets but took down our name and number of tickets on a piece of paper and sent us through. Very odd.

The posted stadium rules are that you can not take any outside food or beverages into the stadium. The exception is that you can take in unopened bottles of water.
When my grandson was smaller, we did take in his baby food with no problem.
The food selection inside the stadium is limited and is mostly to traditional “baseball park foods”. Prices are reasonable, but if your you have special food needs, I would eat before or after the game.
