My husband and I are big fans of roadside attractions, so on a recent trip to Frederick, Maryland, we stopped by to see the silo here painted to look like a giant ear of corn. Our GPS navigated us to the right location, and it's visible from the highway in addition to having a sign point you in the correct direction. I also thought the sign let us know we were welcome, which I appreciated. We drove out and posed for photos and went along to our next attraction. It's a good example of a roadside attraction. The driveway gets a little bumpy, but there are some places to park when you get close, so you can get good photos.

Screamland farms is the BEST. It's the Best and great to go with friend especially when your friends are scardy cats.😄😄😅🤣 Defiantly go. The people are so kind and helpful and know when to stop.

Took my daughter there with other teens. They spent about 3 hours and loved it. They want to go back.

Not only an absolutely awful, terrible, insensitive experience-- a complete and utter waste of time and money. At 2 hours and 45 minutes of wait time for the scary corn maze, I contacted the woman in charge and explained that I had a back injury and could physically no longer wait in line. I had literally laid down on the grass for an hour of that 2 hour and 45 minute wait because I was in pain but trying to stick it out since I had come with a big group of friends. My friend and I asked for a refund and received the WORST customer service you could have imagined while our other friends waited in line. Despite my injury and despite the absolutely ridiculous 3 hour wait, were told that "other places have just as long lines, and no one ever complains." Once back in line, we waited another 25 minutes- A TOTAL OF ALMOST 3 AND A HALF HOURS- in the line for the Korrupted Korn maze, which was not scary at all. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY GOING HERE.

Came here for the bubble fun run. It was horrible! We paid $30 plus an additional $5 for parking. The fun run was 1k around the field. Some really lame obstacles and 2 bubble things. Was all over in like 10 minutes! So lame!!
Price was really high. Then they have this fun zone with like 3 inflatables and the cost for that was $17 per person. Unbelievable! These crooks are robbing the crowds blind and running to the bank.
What a complete rip off. Lesson learned!! At a cost... I could have gone to an amusement park for similar price!

I've been to Crumland several times. This started out as a nice farm and was one of the first in the area to offer tours, mazes, and other non-farm events. They now seem much smaller with the encroachment of buildings nearby - especially the retirement center.
Go now while they still exist!

If you have kids, this is a wonderful place to bring them on a nice autumn day. Lots of unique and rural activities. Corn maze is fun; pumpkin picking is available; hayrides; petting zoo with goats; makeshift playground slides; tractors...and for the teens and young adults at night, it becomes a scary freak fest. Great deal money wise and super unique fun...they take credit cards too and have "country fair" type food like corn dogs and such if you or the kids get hungry. Also a picturesque location ...just off 15 ...definitely recommend. It's a memorable and interesting time for adults and for the kids, I am sure they will love it.

In the fall, Crumland has the corn maze, and in halloween it turns into Screamland. These are both fun draws. The rest of the time it looks like its in a state of confusion. There are travel trailers and broken down trailers at the entrance. There aren't any signs saying if it is open or not. Never really looks like anyone is there. The time we went, we were the only people there. The staff weren't there to do the tractor for the kids in the 50 gallon water drums. If you add that to the massive home development literally being done immediately next to the farm, that really takes away from the "farm" experience. If you go in the fall or during their halloween event, its great. Otherwise, its just ok.

I went to Crumland Farms on Halloween and went through all of the spooky attractions. Barn of Bedlam was my favorite but they were all a lot of fun.
I can't wait to go back in December for the Christmas lights!

This farm is quite difficult to find if you don't know the area and are relying on a GPS device to get you there. You know you are close, but signage/directions are poor.
Once we finally found the place, the farm is geared for very young kids, probably 8 and under. They do have a corn maze, which is fun, but it stopped there for us as the rest of the things to do for my kids (12/16), was too babyish.
I only recommend it if you have little ones. If not, Summers Farm is a much better choice.
