Absolutely lovely beach

Norfolk Cromer Beach is simply stunning—clean, well-maintained, and popular with visitors of all ages. There are convenient ramps at both ends of the beach, and red and yellow flags mark safe swimming areas, monitored by attentive lifeguards. While the shoreline features a few rocks and the sand can be a bit coarse, the beauty of the beach more than makes up for it. Do note that the waves can be strong, making the water a bit challenging for younger children as it gets deep quickly.
The local council is actively working on the sea wall defences, ensuring that this beautiful seaside spot remains protected for future generations. Their efforts are commendable and reflect a commitment to preserving the area. With friendly council staff emptying bins and sweeping regularly.
There is also plenty of parking nearby with a giant overflow car park. At a cost of £08.50p per day.

Cromer is a beautiful seaside town, lovely pier with a couple of nice cafes serving , lovely food, beautiful views out to sea, and the town has some very. Nice shops

Worth checking the tide times before your visit as at hightide there is far less beach in the central section. Great for kids, lifeguards on duty.

Beautiful beach, sandy and pebbly with lots of treasures to be found, such as sea glass and hag stones.
Incredible sunsets too!
Some of the beach is dog friendly and other parts don't allow dogs during peak season.
All in all, a lovely clean beach.

A pleasant beach .You need to arrive early to park at the best places .It's a popular beach with a short pier. At the end of the pier in the season the theatre offers a choice of shows

You can find great sandy beaches, museums, plenty of attractions and go walking along the Norfolk Coast Path, Cromer is a great place to visit, any time of the year.

A very clean beach with plenty to see and do locally, including plenty of cafes and toilet facilities.
The beach itself is a mix of sand and stones
and there are dedicated dog friendly areas.
Really interesting walks in both directions with fantastic views and with a great pier to explore as well.
As an added bonus if you time it right you can see the fisherman come back with their catch and watch as they use the tractors to bring their boats up the beach.

We went to Cromer on our mini moon. We was so lucky to have beautiful weather.

A great place in the winter for a quiet walk and to look for some sea glass! Hot food and drink nearby as well as toilets !! :)

I just wanted to post a correction to a recent review of Cromer Beach saying that dogs are allowed on the beach on leads in August. This is INCORRECT - dogs are NOT allowed on the main beach by the pier between May 1st and September 30, whether on a lead or otherwise. There are signs up to say this along the seafront.
