My family had a charter flight over the Rainbow bridge and surrounding area. The views are amazing and memorable. Great for pictures.

This place is far most most places. If nearby it's worth a visit. Three nice natural bridges to see. Not to long of a hike to get to each one or you can just take the short walk to the lookout and see them. You will not see too many people here.

Looked up things to do in Page, AZ. Saw the Rainbow Bridge and we were so excited and followed TripAdvisor’s map to a neighborhood with nothing there. Turns out it is about 25 miles away just so you know. We never made it ... :(

We made the long water run just so the kids could say they’ve been there. Hot,Hot,Hot!! Good thing dangling rope is close by with gas and ice cream.

I had decided to take my grandchildren on a trip and had always wanted to go to Rainbow Bridge so I started researching the best way to do it. In all we would have 13 people traveling and I knew I needed a boat that would hold up to 14 people. We found it at Renegade Boat Rentals. I'm glad we rented with them as the experience was well worth the money.
We headed out to Rainbow Bridge from the Wahweep Stateline Marina at about 8am. It took us about 2.5 hours to get to the turnout for Rainbow Bridge. Luckily, the boat had a great navigation system. We averaged about 25 miles per hour on the way out and had I been more familiar with the boat, I could have easily averaged 35 miles per hour.
There is no sign from the main lake to the Rainbow Bridge turnoff until after you make the turnoff so knowing where you are going is helpful. The ride through the narrow canyon to the Rainbow Bridge boat dock was spectacular. There were not as many signs as there were turns, but we made it to the dock and luckily it wasn't that crowded. Tying off at the dock was a little difficult because there were D rings on the dock instead of Cleats. The intent was to pass the line through a D ring and use the cleat on the boat but it took about 1/2 hour to figure that out.
The walk to Rainbow Bridge was about a mile up a slight grade on sandy but rocky ground. It was a nice little hike and the scenery was beautiful . The hike was well worth it. I was surprised at how many people weren't wearing masks. The return trip to the dock was pretty uneventful other than a group of about 35 people who decided to stand in the middle of the narrow trail and talk to each other without any consideration of people walking by. When we got back to the dock, it was completely full and there were several boats waiting to dock.

Der Trip zur Rainbow Bridge startete 7:30 Uhr am Hafen. Nach ca. 2 Stunden Bootsfahrt kamen wir an und konnten die letzten Meter zu Fuß absolvieren. Die ca. 80 m Durchmesser sind schon riesig. Erst recht, wenn man darunter/davorsteht. Danach gibt es wieder die Fahrt durch die beindruckenden Gesteinsschluchten. Es ist auf jeden Fall einen Ausflug wert, auch wenn es nicht ganz günstig ist.

Arrived by boat. Boat ride up the canyon was beautiful. The walk is easy, take about 10 min. Very interesting and worthwhile hike.

Second time here and took the family this time . Its a pretty good run on your boat and you can miss the turnoff if your not paying attention. Dandling rope is close by if you need to refuel.

Took the boat tour and I can genuinely say every penny paid was worth it. The boat ride and views are unparalleled. The Bridge is breathtaking! Don’t miss this tour if you are coming to Page.

Is the Rainbow Bridge open to the public? I am not sure what is open or closed nowadays due to COVID. We plan to go there November for hiking and enjoying the scenery (don’t know how to drive a boat). Thanks!

Currently yes. You can check the NPS web page for Lake Powell Az or Rainbow Bridge UT. for current status. Long hike by land.

It's a 1.25 mile hike. Be sure to carry water and wear sturdy shoes and a broad brim hat. We visited in September when the weather was pleasant. June may be warm...just be prepared. The hike is lovely and shouldn't be missed.

Die Rainbow Bridge Boat Tour führt normalerweise nicht in den Antelope Canyon oder den Navajo Canyon. Es fährt durch Padre Bay den Hauptkanal des Lake Powell hinauf. Es handelt sich um eine ganztägige Tour, und aufgrund des Wasserstandes des Lake Powell ist ein 2-3 Meilen langer Rundweg erforderlich, um zur Rainbow Bridge selbst zu gelangen (per Google Translate).

I was trying to look for tours (in April 2019), and it is only showing full day 8 hour tour. Do you know if there are any other companies (other than lake powell) that offer half day tours? I see reviews where people have taken half day tours, not sure how to find that.

Takes about a total of 4 to 5 hours for the complete tour. You only have about one or two hours at the rainbow bridge. You have to get there by boat. The ride out there is the same time as the ride back. Very pleasant. The rainbow bridge was a definite High Point of our vacation. Glorious, and so beautiful!

Is the national park fee included in the Lake Powell boat tour to Rainbow Bridge? I booked a tour online but it doesn't say if the park fee is included or if we have to pay the park fee once we arrive. Trying to see if I should go ahead and get the annual park pass or not. Thanks in advance.

The national park pass for seniors 65+ is now $80, lifetime. We did not need it for this trip but it is a bargin and gives great discounts on camping also. Have fun, this is a beautiful trip.

Better to take the Plane Ride or the Boat Tour to see Rainbow Bridge? We have been to Arches NP and have seen other Arch's . Having problems finding anything out about how to see (on our own) Vermillion Cliffs NP. It seems like everyone wants to keep it as a well kept secret. Need information on getting Maps, etc of the place. Thanks for any help
