This is a bit of an unusual review because I haven't actually travelled with Greenland Tours. I booked travel with them and my trip was first postponed for a year due to Covid-19, then I had to cancel due to Covid quarantine restrictions imposed in Greenland. So, a year and a half after booking I reluctantly requested a refund. I won't go into all the details - there was a lot of trouble with my US bank - but Greenland tours kept working at the problem and after some weeks my deposit was refunded in full. They stayed in contact with me throughout the process, worked at solving the problem on my behalf, and I was pleased with their customer service. I hope to travel to Greenland in the next few years and I will book through Greenland Tours once again. I believe they are an honest and honorable travel broker.

Guide to Greenland

Incredible! We were the only two on a small motor boat and couldn't have enjoyed the trip anymore. It we could have chosen only one destination in Greenland this is the one we would have chosen. Our local guide was so informative and provided a stunning ride near and around the glaciers.

Greenland Tours - exceptional from start to finish

I did quite a lot of research on tour companies before deciding to use Greenland Tours for a 10 day trip to Greenland in August. In January I started discussions with them about an itinerary. They were also so prompt in responding, offering very honest feedback about what would work and what wouldn't (and now after having been, I can see why). We ended up booking one of their main itineraries but adding some bolt-ons and changing some dates of excursions. I am a seasoned traveller and loved putting my own itineraries and bookings together but I felt for Greenland, it was better left to the experts because tourism is still in broader terms still in its infancy and logistics wise, it still limited. I am so glad we did. We were stranded on Disko Island for an extra two days because the weather conditions prevented the boats travelling to and from the mainland. They took care of absolutely everything with changing hotel date nights at Disko Island and back at Hotel Arctic in Illulisat, boat back to mainland and our flights back to Copenhagen. It meant we could relax and enjoy the extra two days on the island without worrying or having to go online. The quality of all the excursions we booked as part of the itinerary was first class. Henry and his team were themselves absolutely first class and I would have no hesitation recommending them. It really was an incredible trip. We did the camping on the Ice Camp, UNESCO walk in Illulisat, sunset cruise, Eqi Glacier, Disko Island for two days (although ending up as four). Lots of impromptu whale watching!!

Ma ho delle perplessita' sulla professionita' dell'ufficio: una volta arrivati e' arrivata una rappresentante dell'agenzia in albergo spiegando le escursioni che avevamo prenotato e dando una serie di informazioni su quello che si poteva fare in citta'.
Peccato che il giorno dopo la visita della citta' era prevista per le 12 cosi come la visita al museo di Rasmussen....ma il museo chiudeva alle 12! cosi abbiamo perso la visita alla cosa che probabilmente e' piu' interessante di Illullissat, dal punto di vista culturale. Bastava dirlo....al posto di dare gli orari dei supermercati....

Good Company. Great Trip

My wife and I set up a customized trip to Greenland to see the Northern Lights and experience the range of other activities possible in Greenland during the winter. We went at the end of February and beginning of March. We saw it all (including the aurora) and did it all (including a five hour dog sledding trip). The owner and sales manager were very polite, professional, and patient when arranging our trip. I would highly recommend Greenland Tours and would use them again.
Are there any things I would change? They flew us in and out of Copenhagen and we stayed at the Absalon Hotel. It was a 4-star hotel and it was excellent--except for its location. It was located in a "sexy" part of town. It didn't bother me but it did bother my wife. If you ask them to change the hotel, you might try something closer to the airport. The Absalon was quite a way from the airport. The cab ride was about $70 US one way. Overall, however, Greenland Tours did a great job.

E' stata una delle più affascinanti avventure fatte al mondo

Fare un giro per queste terre dove tutto è ovattato è stata una delle più belle esperienze della mia vita. Dall'osservare la maestosità degli immensi Iceberg, immersi nelle acque cristalline del posto, oppure navigare lungo il fiordo di Kangerlua e avvicinarsi al ghiacciao con i riflessi azzurrognoli e assaporare il ghiaccio scalfito con le piccozze, infine con un percorso di hiking raggiungere con una lunga e bella passeggiata su di una passerella in legno per non rovinare il permafrost, il sito archeologico di Sermermiut ,luogo unico al mondo per la sua posizione geografica e bellezza naturale che si fregia del simbolo Unesco come patrimonio dell'umanità.
