Someone had to get taken out by helicopter after falling, the place was built with no respect to building or fire codes, the ziplines use climbing harnesses with no breaks just leather gloves

We had a fantastic time here. Would love to go back. Great for families with young kids. Perfect combo of environment to relax and kids do their own thing and also have some fun adventure. The associated zipline activity is so fun. The guides/instructors were fantastic.

We stayed for a night in the Loon Tree and my kids, ages 5 and 8, loved it! Better than camping, there are different treehouse layouts depending on your needs, some with indoor plumbing and others with just a bed and a loft. Ours had a bed and loft with two sleeping bags, as well as a mini-fridge and heater. It was perfect for our family of four.
While there are a lot of amenities on the property the highlight for us was zip lining. We loved the experience and our guides, Paige and Morgan, were wonderful. They were very patient with our kids and more importantly we felt safe, often harnessed to trees when the platforms were very narrow. I would highly recommend this experience whether you stay the night or are just passing through.

This was such a cool experience and the treehouses are amazing! Breakfast is included, treehouses have electricity, water and little fridges. There’s a shared kitchen for use, including several grills and a community fire pit that has wood provided. Horseback riding and zip lining available onsite as extras. We had fun, but I wish I had found this when my kids were all little!

We took our granddaughter here and got the yurt tree. The place has plenty of activities such as ping pong games swings swimming pool horseback riding zip lining it is amazing. The tree houses are beautiful and fun. The staff is welcoming and friendly. I highly recommend this place for a family outing

This place is very unique. You have to call and talk to a person for a reservation! 😲 You will feel a very “plush Hippie” vibe when you arrive. It’s a magical experience unlike any other! Our tree house was very clean, and warm. The bed was comfy. You had to hike to the toilet and shower, but there was heat and electricity in the treehouse. The place just makes you feel like a kid! Swings everywhere. Hanging bridges through the trees.
Things to plan for- this is fancy camping. There is no food, restaurant or local resources. It is WAY out in the hills. They have a full kitchen cabin for community use to cook your own food. Small refrigerator in your room to store it. Plan ahead and you should LOVE it!

Der er ingen tvivl om, at dette sted er en af de mest unikke overnatninger, jeg har haft! Resortet ligger langt fra alting, så man får sig noget af en køretur, før man overhovedet når frem.
Fremme ved check-in blev vi mødt af en utrolig venlig og meget dedikeret dame, som viste os rundt i området, der bl.a. byder på grill-område, udendørs poolbord, kæmpegynger og træklatring (mod gebyr). Herefter viste damen os frem til vores egen træhytte beliggende i omkring 12 meters højde. Vores hed Forestree og havde fire senge samt eget toilet og håndvask! For at komme frem til de forskellige hytter skal man gå ad lange hængebroer oppe i træerne, og det er virkelig stemningsfuldt.
Om aftenen bliver hele området lyst op af tusindvis af LED-lys, hvilket selvsagt også giver en fed stemning.
Man får sikkert ikke den bedste nattesøvn i træhytterne, da der er mange "interessante" lyde i skoven om natten, men det bør man tage med som en oplevelse.
Opholdet hos Out'n'About Treehouse er i øvrigt inklusiv en ok morgenmadsbuffet og WiFi.

Our kids (aged 12 and 14) loved it here! We had only 2 nights booked, but we all wished we could have stayed another night. I booked in Feb 2017 for July 2017 and all the true 'treehouses' were already booked for our time slot. We ended up in the 'Mastree'. The room is part of the actual main lodge building, but there is an elevated gazebo with a sleeping loft where our girls slept - they loved it! We loved that we had a full bathroom with shower (most others used shared bathrooms). The atmosphere is very much family style with a shared pavilion for cooking and shared fire pit. There is lots for the kids to do - even if you don't do the extra activities like horseback riding and zipline.
Breakfast each morning was very good. Fresh quiche and baked goods every day! We did hear the kitchen staff in the morning, as our room was right above the kitchen, so there was no sleeping in for us.
My other word of caution is the 'pool'. I did look on line and knew what to expect, but I have a hard time calling this a pool. It is a dirt hole lined with rocks with diverted river water. I would maybe dip my feet, but not much else.
Overall, an unique experience that the kids will definitely remember fondly!
