I love this beach because it is quiet. There are no cars to worry about. You can park your car on pavement. It has good showers and bathroom facilities. But the beach itself is pristine and less crowded.

This is a great beach to walk, watch the waves, and relax. The water is clean and clear. This is always a place I come to get away.

We picked up two full yellow bags of trash. That’s not the complaint, we gladly do our part keeping the beach clean. But $10 is not enough to keep thoughtless people away ( those who litter or ignore litter.) Raise the fee to discourage these “undesirables” from bringing their trash to this beach.

The beach was a great experience for my toddlers they really enjoyed themselves. It wasn't too crowded but there were other families there. We went around 6pm on a Friday and it was perfect, it was a little windy but the weather was great.

Having the use of restrooms and showers to rinse off the sand was excelkent for my little one especially. Very clean and maintained beach area.

Me gusta esta playa por s; años hemos ido mi familia y yo crecieron prácticamente mis hijos cada verano ; viajando a esa playa ; hoy no estoy muy contenta. Ya tienen más de dos años ; arreglando las regaderas 🙄🙄

We have visited many beaches, but this was the first time we have driven on one. It was very clean with plenty of space for everyone. We did visit during the winter, but the weather was nice.

My wife and I spent the entire day here. There was scarcely anyone here, which made it even better. There were other people at the beach; however, because the beach so was spacious, there was plenty of room to have our own little area. To be honest, it felt like our own private little beach.
The beach was relatively clean and TRAFFIC-FREE. There were NO cars allowed on the beach, which was nice! No trashy vehicles, no obnoxious Trump flags, no loud music, no nothing. It was nice! We have been to other public beaches here in CC, where we would see garbage like that. This was like an oasis.
The Park Rangers were nice and informative. The restrooms were clean compared to others we have seen. We liked it so much we plan on going back in a few days.

I highly recommend going to the Padre National Seashore - Malaquite Beach. Yes, you have to pay, but that keeps the crowds to a minimum. The beach is clean and they have a visit center, as it is part of the NPS. Plus, you do not see vehicles down on the beach like you would at a public beach.
