Absolutely Fabulous Field Trip for School Children

We took our kindergarten students on a field trip here and had a blast!! The staff is WONDERFUL!! They were so nice, patient, and informative! We will definitely return next year! The experience of feeding the animals is an unforgettable memory for our children.

Animals are happy as we are!

It's a nice place to escape and be with the nature. Animals are friendly, happy, and well-fed. The staff and the owner are very informative and welcoming. Would love to re-visit next time.

Short family trip

We took our 5 kids here for something to do. The staff was awesome and very accommodating. We took the guided tour in a bus so that everyone had a window to be next too. Our kids were so excited feeding the animals and I enjoyed hearing about the different animals on the property. We will definitely recommend this place to family and friends and will probably be back ourselves

Had a blast when we stopped on a whim

We stopped in our way back from Poverty Point. We had a blast laughing and taking pictures the whole way. The zebras and camels were especially funny. Definitely recommend purchasing the bag of food. They were so helpful and watched our dog for us while we drove through the park.

Great fun

I loved it; animals Are gorgeous and always asking for Food, Safari ride is comfortable and gift shop has many nice things to offer.it was really fun.

Fun

We stopped in while on a road trip back to Texas from North Carolina. This is about 10-15 minutes off the highway. It has a petting zoo so we enjoyed getting out of the car for a bit to feed the small animals. We spent about 30 minutes driving through the park. It was fun and nice distraction from the long drive.

Visit to Safari Park

Very nice experience to visit this facility. It is nice to see animals from another Country if you are from a Country with lots of wildlife as well. Very informative and the local Guides as very professional and knowledgeable. We would like to visit here again as we had very limited time with our first visit to the Park.

Elvis, the camel, stole my cup of food!

My family thoroughly enjoyed the drive-through tour. From our car, we fed donkeys, zebras, camels. The camels were our favorite, as they had quite the personality! At the petting zoo, we pet goats, alpacas, and llamas. We did not see kangaroos or giraffes, as described in previous reviews. It was a fun experience, and we are glad we made the hour drive to the safari!

Glad we stopped, had a good laugh.

Drove our car, it was a fun unplanned stop. Peolpe are great as are the animals. Hang on to your food cup. The animals have learned to get in front of your car to stop it. Then it's on, feed me time.

Wonderful place!

This place is great family fun!! The signs were easy to find after a bit of a drive off the interstate. The staff were friendly and helpful. They have very clean nice restrooms. We decided to drive through in our car instead of waiting 1 hr for the next guided tour. Driving through, the animals walk right up to window and eat from the cups. Great picture opportunity. The animals were, as expected, dirty, muddy and snotty. So our car was dirty inside and out and lots of snot on our clothes. We didn’t think of that when we dressed. But a small price for such an amazing experience. We would love to come back.
