Our family (Dad + 8- and 6-year old) had such an excellent time on the ropes course! Katherine gave a fun and thorough intro -- and how cool that smart carabiners now exist to keep kids extra safe when transferring from one to the next?! Our 8-year-old, who can often be timid about physical adventures, was immediately off to the races. He conquered 32 of the 34 obstacles, many of them multiple times. Our 6-year-old, who's usually pretty game for new things, took some time to warm up to the height (a few tears, but insisted on continuing to try). Dagne was an *incredible* champion for her. She taught her breathing techniques, distracted her with funny questions, and by the middle of the session, she was doing every obstacle on the first level. She then spent the entire rest of the weekend asking when we could go back so she could go up to the top level. Side note: mom was stuck on the ground with a 2-year-old and they even had the foresight to have a swing and basket full of puzzles, books, and games to keep little ones entertained. Such a small but considerate touch that made a world of difference in our experience. The 90-minute happy hour tour was the perfect amount of time for our kids' ages and was timed for a perfect transition to an early dinner. Everyone slept well that night! Huge thanks to the team. They are very hands on and take such good care of the climbers, so please note the opportunity to add a tip at booking. We could not recommend more highly!
