Used the bar and garden facility a couple of times for happy hour and drinks afterwards. Reasonable prices and a good level of service. But was often very busy as the hotel runs a number of music events inside and out.

we were in town for the Gem Shore and were ready for some Happy Hour FUN! ordered a nice cold local draft and appletini. YUM! Great Service too

Our group was downtown and tried to eat lunch at the Cup in Hotel Congress. Could no it get us in too big. So, someone called the Playground. They got us in easily. Food was hot and tasty. A bit loud, but folks were watching football

Four of us went here excited to dance and what we found was a horrendous DJ who made far too many transitions, so as soon as people would start feeling a song, he would change it!
A good DJ and this would have been a fun rooftop to dance at. The bar downstairs had great selection, including KettleOne Botanicals.
My advise- research the DJ before you go!

We heard live music here so came to check it out. It was a rooftop bar with beautiful views of downtown. They had chandeliers hanging from the trellis and a bar in back and tables, chairs and several couches and cocktail tables. Great vibe and good place to dance. But do watch your drinks as the servers are quite efficient at picking up empty (and partially empty) glasses!

A great place for celebration cocktails and sitting at the bar and chatting to the bar

The wine is served in stemless glasses and the pours are small and not worth the price.
The absolute worst philly cheesteak sub ever. This was offered on the bar menu for $9.00. It was beef mush with the consistency of oatmeal with burned pieces that tasted awful. I hate the taste of burned anything.
The cook should be forced to eat one of these beef mush sandwiches.
I will never visit the Playground Bar again it sucks so bad.

Love going to the Playground to see live music, do some dancing, have some dinner and drinks. Always a great time. We especially go to see the band "Heart and Soul" great group.

Their mixed drinks are really tasty - I had to order a second watermelon drink as the first was so good. Good service, good seating. Not too loud and restrooms were nice.

We hung out on the roof top lounge area which was very comfortable. Service was great. Good food and good beers on tap. They just remodeled so a lot of cool decretive items. I loved the outside heaters , they looked like large lamps.
