These statues bring Dr. Seuss to huge proportions. It is a wonderful photo opportunity and it’s made beautiful. The Lorax and the turtles are further from these other statues.
Outside the fine arts museum they have a musical instrument that looks like a little art display. It has two mallets to play the instrument.

I am a long time Dr Seuss fanatic and have wanted to see this sculpture garden for a long time - it did not disappoint. The sculptures, done by Theodor Geisel’s step-daughter, are phenomenal- it is a ‘must see’ for any fan, young or old

Beautiful gardens with life sized renderings of popular characters from Dr Seuss’ books. There are five museums around the perimeter of the gardens, which makes the gardens a quiet place for a break between museum visits.

Stopped here on our way to another attraction. Very cute sculptures!! We only spent maybe 20 minutes here though, so if you’re gonna stop, make sure to have other things planned!!

Awesome place for the kids. Tons of interactive things for them to do inside Super fun for entire family. Outside is a big area of Dr. Seuss statues where you can take a ton of photos.

Hi Mariah! Unfortunately, dogs that are not service animals are not allowed on the Quadrangle Green where the sculpture garden is located.

There is a gift shop in the Information/Visitor Center. This building is also the Science Museum and where you get tickets. The gift shop is large and has lots of Seuss items from books to leggings, as well as other general merchandise. Hope this helps. Call them if you need more information.

I was told that this is designed more for older kids… My kids are three and five. Would they have a good time here? It's about a 2 Hour Dr. from New Hampshire where we are… Is that worth it? Thank you in advance for your answers.

I think they would love it if they know the characters from the books! However, I don't think it would be worth the 2 hour drive just for the garden.

Hi Kayla-- If you are visiting the Sculpture Garden, our Blake House Cafe is right next to the parking area. There are restaurants in there.

We will be passing throught the area and would love to stop and see the memorial garden (not the museums). Will we be able to walk out 35-40 lb, friendly dog through the memorial garden with us? TIA!

9am-8pm according to the Springfield Museums' website. I don't know the point of going after dark, I have to say. This seems an outdoor, in the sun kind of place.
