It’s a neat place and great history. Well cared for. We unexpectedly had extra time in the area and got to stop by. We didn’t get to take the tour because it was sold out for the day. If you can plan ahead, definitely do it.

The guides provided good information and explained the events surrounding the assassination of President McKinley and the inauguration of President Roosevelt.

What an absolutely wonderful National Park Site! There is so much information in just one house. One can learn about the Buffalo World's Fair, the death of President McKinley, the inauguration of Theodore Roosevelt to replace McKinley and TR's career as president. There is also some interesting interactive stations in the house. Our guide was really helpful; she gave a great explanation of everything.

Amazing experience, fantastic tour. I took my 15 year old son who loves history and he loved it!! The tour guide was also fantastic and engaging! I recommend this tour for everyone to experience!!

The guided tour is brief and informative. There are two compelling videos. Then, you are free to tour the museum and grounds on your own. We learned a lot and left with a renewed interest and respect for TR.

It’s a small museum with a tour required. It cost $12. There are some videos to watch which were interesting. The room itself is restored after having other uses over the years. I liked it.

How do you get tickets? I went to the website but don't see where you can purchase them online.

I'm not sure who was responding to your question and I apologize that I didn't see this question much earlier. During the summer months, which is our busiest season, I would highly recommend you go to our website and click on the tab in the upper right corner of the homepage "Book a Tour". This will take you directly to where you can book and pay for your tour in advance, guaranteeing the tour time won't be sold out when you arrive.

During this time of year (our busiest season is July, August, and September) I would recommend going on to the TR Inaugural Site website and booking your tour to guarantee you have the date and time you desire. Although we can usually accommodate walk-ins, we can only provide the tour to a maximum of 15 people at any given time slot.

Unfortunately the TR Site is closed on New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.
