Along with Waikiki Beach, this is probably the place where you can feel Hawaii most.
You can see Diamond Head in front of you, and you feel like you have what Hawaii calls mana (natural energy) all over your body.
You can see that Diamond Head's mountain surface has also turned brown and green!

The park sits under the watchful eye of Diamond Head along the beaches of Waikiki. Families enjoying picnics, couples playing tennis, youth soccer games, and music at the bandshell- fabulous place.

Queen Kapiʻolani Regional Park is the largest public park in Hawaii, located in Honolulu on the east end of Waikiki just beyond Kuhio Beach Park.
It is pretty big and was fun walking in there. It was so beautiful.

This is the best place to relax and enjoy a view of Diamond Head. You can go there while walking along Waikiki Beach in the early morning. This is my favorite place. I did some morning yoga and recharged my energy. Local people walk their dogs here. I'd love to go again.

ダイヤモンドヘッドを見渡せます！人もいなくてダイヤモンドヘッドをひとり占めした写真も撮れます！！
トレーニングできる遊具的なものも少しあり、お兄さんたちが動画撮影してました。他には樹があるだけの広々とした公園です。
ワイキキからbikiと徒歩で訪れました。最寄りのbikiステーションから少し歩くので、散歩になります。

A good sized park located between Waikiki Beach and Diamond Head. There are frequently displays, free Hawaiian Band Concerts and today the Waikiki Art Fest, Zoo Wall Art and the Na Hula Festival all on the one day.

We found the park by accident. We wanted to see Waikiki Beach and drove past the beach - looking for parking - right into Kapiolani Park where we found a free parking lot. It was too far (for us in our 60’s with bad backs) to walk to Waikiki, so we walked through the park to the nearby Aquarium. The park is just beautiful. Kudos to the Hawaiian government for dedicating this gorgeous piece of real estate to the enjoyment of its people. I have been to many city parks around the world, and this is one of the loveliest ones. And it’s huge. I loved walking through it, seeing the view of Waikiki, the statue of Queen Kapiolani, the banyan trees, people relaxing on the grass and playing ball on the ball fields.

There are a lot of places you can ask about schedules of events. But the front desk of your hotel should have some of that information and they usually had booklets about the many different tours, etc.

You will find a few fish around here but nothing terribly exciting. If it's snorkeling you're after - sign up with a private tour (we used OPT) where local guides take you to the best snorkeling places around the island - worth the spend! But if you're just curious, then suggest catching Waikiki Trolley to Hanauma Bay. Have an awesome trip!
