I have yet to actually rent my bike from here (haven't arrived) but I regularly over the years have used another great venue. This took me by surprise, however. The owner has conversed and worked with me through multiple emails, responding quickly and respectively and patiently answered all my questions (and boy did I have a lot!). Because I am a long-stay and come multiple times a year, we negotiated a bit of a deal and I have to say that if all ges as I expect this will be my go-to for life!

We hired bikes for four days to see more of Waikiki than just the main strip. The process was easy, we booked online in advance and Matt emailed us the day before we were due to get the bikes, he met us at our hotel at a time that suited us to drop off and collect the bikes. Can not speak highly enough of the service.

My husband and I cannot rate this service highly enough. We visited Waikiki for 7 days and Matt was able to supply the great quality, well serviced bikes at a very reasonable cost and the after hours service was spot on. We had a tyre blow-out in the 1st 24hrs and Matt was there to exchange bikes and we peddled on. It is a fantastic way to see the sights and Matt, being a local, was also able to provide some good travelling tips for the area to remain safe, especially when we are not used to riding on the "wrong" side of the road. Highly recommended

Best bike rental service ever! I researched several bike rental companies before choosing Waikiki Bike Rentals. The owner Matt was so pleasant and informative on the phone that I chose his company. The bikes were delivered to my hotel on time and he picked them up on time also. The bikes were in great condition and came with a helmet, lock and lights. Matt adjusted the seats and did a mechanical and tire check when he delivered them. He will even come to your location on your ride if you happen to get a flat tire, although we did not experience any flat tires or mechanical issues during our ride. The bike rental rate was excellent for the service provided. Our bike riding experience was the best!!!! I would highly recommend this bike rental company.

Been to Hawaii over a dozen times, so I've seen all the major attractions. Just wanted to get out and explore a bit on bicycle and get a little exercise. Matt arrived at my hotel on time, his bicycles were in excellent condition, helmet/lock/rear basket all in great condition. He did a mechanical check and demo on the bike before turning it over to me.
Now, riding in Waikiki itself, forget it! But starting at Kapiolani Park and heading west to Diamond Head and Hanauma Bay, very nice.
I highly recommend Waikiki Bike Rentals.

During my stay in Waikiki, I decided to give Waikiki Bike Rentals a try so I could get some exercise but also see some sites. Just as others have said, Matt made it all so easy. I called at the end of the day for a next-morning city bike rental, and he was happy to oblige. Even though I am an experienced bike rider, I felt he anticipated my every question. I also felt very confident he would be there if problems had come up (which they did not). As a result, I was able to ride out to DiamondHead and then headed back to the Foster Botanical Garden. Had I had more energy, I would have done more. Matt was very prompt in delivery and pick up, plus he was very friendly and approachable. Overall a great experience. Highly recommend Waikiki Bike Rentals!!

We booked a bike for 3 days and went everywhere!
It was amazing to be outside, enjoy the sun and be able to stop anywhere.
It was exhausting but fun. If you are fit enough i strongly recommend. We went from wikiki to hanauma bay for a day. and also went to pearl harbour by bike.
If you get tired you can always catch a bus and hang the bike in front.

My husband and I love to explore our vacation destinations by bike and rent them instead of car when we travel. Matt, the owner of Waikiki Bike Rentals, helped make our experience in Hawaii one of the best we've ever had! He was very responsive, friendly, and knowledgeable! Our bikes were delivered right on time to the hotel and he took time to fit them and ensure the tires were at he correct pressure. The bikes came with locks, helmets, and rear and front lights for our late night bike rides back to our hotel. His website offers suggestions and routes to area attractions. Moana Falls is a must! Matt was flexible on the return date for the bikes and when we made the final call, he was there right away to pick them up from us. Great service! Fun way to explore the island! Highly recommend!
