This was a great find to have some inside family fun. We all were able to play a few games and our 8 year old was pretty happy in getting to redeem his points back in to get a prize.
+ best for older kids, teens, adults
+ use of a card was more handy then a pocket full of coins and tickets to redeem
+ easy to find in the mall - bottom floor by escalator
- not many games for toddlers and young kids
- could not keep track of how much card credit we had left
- games do not tell you how much each game costs (card)

アラモアナで買い物していも子供はやはり飽きてしまうので、途中こちらのお店でゲームをして気分転換しています。
トークンという店内で遊べる通貨代わり(？)の物を購入するのにカードが発行されるので、そちらにトークンをチャージしてゲームをします。
英語力の無い私達は手探りでゲームをしたのですが、途中子供が山ほどチケットを獲得し大興奮していました。(画像参照。家族の手にもチケットの束が握られています。)チケットを大量獲得しても交換出来る品物はファミレスのお子さまセットのおまけ位のクオリティですが、それでも子供達は大喜びでした。
チャージ用のカードは1年後でも特に問題なく使用できましたのでリピート予定の方は帰国後もとっておくと便利かもしれません。
ゲームの値段としては適正なのか微妙なところですが、思いがけずチケットが大量に獲得出来ると嬉しいですよ。

Over all these years visiting Ala Moana, I never had a reason or desire to enter Jungle Fun, and whatever it may have been called before.
This time, I was on a daddy-daughter date, and she couldn't have been more ecstatic. Nothing melts a daddy's heart faster than seeing his toddlers eyes light up with excitement.
I'm old school, so when seeing how this place works, it took me by surprise. Instead of real money in machines (that's taking it waaaay back), or in-house tokens like I'm used to, they have gone high tech- and went to a credit card type deal. You purchase a card, then proceed to put money into it. When you want to play a game, you swipe your card. I noticed this at the carnival this and last year as well. Makes me feel super old!
I do like that technology though, keeps my pockets from being full of dirty coins.
There were still some games that took tokens, so that was sorta weird having to mix the two different payment platforms. Not a big deal though, main thing was my girl was having a blast.
There was a merry-go-round carousel in the center, which was just small enough for toddlers.
There are a large amount of crane/claw games, as well as many games that spit out tickets.
In the back was a handful of games more geared for teenagers, as well as air hockey.
We played for a good 30 minutes or so, and I only spent $20. Within those 30 min, we were able to amass a fair amount of tickets. I think this place is pretty loose on its ticket giving, so that allows you to get more/better prizes.
I will 1000% be back, because I know there is no way my toddler will forget this place, and from now on anytime we go to Ala Moana, she will be asking to go play. And I will gladly do so.

Jungle Fun is not your typical kid-oriented restaurant, like Chuck E. Cheese or something like that. It is definitely different. It is located on the ground level of the Ala Moana Center near the center stage. When you trek into the jungle-themed environment, you'll discover great games and prizes, cuddly stuffed animals, unique jungle gifts and wild fun for the entire family. You'll be able to take your picture by the big pink giraffe and watch Mad Manny & the Monkey Misfits. There are plenty of games for all ages and, yes, there is plenty of stuff to buy. It is a nice place to take a break from shopping and let the kids have some fun.

We arrived and purchased a decent amount of credits. 2 games in all the machines were unavailable, so we walked up and asked what the go was. Another staff member told us they were shutting. I think we should have been advised that they were shutting soon and not to buy to many. We couldn't get a refund and were pretty much told tough luck. Not impressed.

We were visiting Ala Moana Center and wandered into Jungle Fun to see what it "was about".
There is every sort of video game imaginable, aimed, I believe, at the teens.
There are slides, climbing areas, and "ball pits" for the younger set. Basketball shooting stations, for everyone.
Lots of noise. A good place to take the children for a break from the shopping.
