Outstanding experience! Staff were really helpful in picking out gear to hike the Narrows in Zion. They took time to provide tips, explain the hike, and answer questions. Rented gear was great quality and were definitely necessary to make our adventure a success!

Zion Guru took care of our group with outfitting for the Narrows and guided canyoneering tour. Noah worked all of us through the heights and rappelling down the canyon walls! One of us in the group struggled with the heights. He was patient and kind and helped her through the fear. I highly recommend the company and of course Noah!

Nick was a fabulous guide during our 3 days at Zion. He was incredibly flexible and knowledgeable about all the activities we did - hiking, canyoneering and the Narrows (water). We highly recommend Zion Gurus and be sure to ask for Nick as your guide.

Our guides for a family canyoneering trip were amazing and the experience was incredible! All of us with zero experience Ages 8-50yr and it was thrilling, and physical and absolutely fun. Experience and mementoes of a lifetime. Highly recommend doing the 7AM option in August.

Used them for two days, hiking up the Narrows and Canyoneering. Both days ended hours earlier than we expected. In the Narrows you don’t need a guide, ours made us turn around before getting to the iconic sections. Poor planning on their part. The canyoneering trip ended two hours earlier than we were told it would. The guides themselves were great, but the company seemingly has grown too large to care about their customers.

The initial reservation and service was good. The Narrows was fantastic, but we kept getting rocks inside our neoprene booty. When we got back and removed the bootys we discovered 3 out of 4 had holes in the toes. When I returned them and showed the young lady that they were worn and had holes, she said they do their best and said she was sorry. Poor quality control and when I looked they were gone, I suspect they went back in the bin.

I was a solo traveler looking for more than the tourist guided trips and Zion Guru hit it out of the park! I went with a private tour for one. My guide, Noah, was amazing and really made sure I got to see things that the locals see and tested my strength and stamina. His expertise and passion for what he is showing you makes the experience more special. We did a couple nice hikes then he somehow talked me in to canyoneering! I am terrified of heights and nearly coped out. Noah was kind and patient and didn't try to pressure me to repel down. With his guidance, I conquered my fears! And now he has created a monster, I cannot wait to try it again! We also went in to a very narrow slot canyon which is something I wouldn't get to do without his expertise. I highly recommend this company and request Noah, he is amazing! Give him some freedom to plan your trip...you wont regret it! Thank you, Noah, for a great trip and helping me conquer my fear!

Can't say enough about Zion Gurus! I started building my itinerary 6 months before our trip to The Mighty Five and must have called them 5 or 6 times before we even arrived. Each and every time and each and every person I spoke to couldn't have been more helpful, kind (so much I didn't understand and couldn't until actually being there), and accommodating (I made changes right up until the day we arrived...so annoying I know!). Our hikes were awesome...my husband wouldn't have done what he did without Tyler (fear of heights) and I wouldn't have finished the Narrows without Tyler (fear of water). So pull into town and go right to this awesome business...or call a hundred times before you get there...either way they will be there for you!

Excellent customer service from Kegen! We rented boots and sticks to hike the narrows from Kegan at Zion Guru. His advice on the narrows and fitting of our gear could not have been better. I had a leg issue that he advised me with on purchasing socks and they worked out perfect for our adventure. This gentleman has excellent skills and is kind and knowledgeable and made our time in Zion park very comfortable and special. If you want to explore Zion Park and the surrounding area, go see Kegan for pointers and gear!!! I would love to buy the boots we rented, very comfortable! Thank you!!!

Absolutely amazing guide NOAH! He was responsive from the start and on-time. He taught our boys (15 & 8) local plant life, climbing fundamentals/safety, and was attentive to providing our boys a climbing excursion that many would not even think of because of the level of knowledge needed from the guide. Noah was absolutely second to none and words can’t explain how much of an impact he provided to both our boys. After our climb, he spent extra time sitting down with them and provided more intel and guidance you just wouldn’t expect to teach them more about climbing etiquette, safety, routes, lifestyle, and a pathway to what my oldest is dreaming about, becoming a guide/search and rescue himself.
Top notch! Thank you is very inadequate.
We also rented bikes for the day and Zion Guru provided everything we needed to enjoy Zion the way our family wanted to at our pace.

Hi! My husband and I planning a trip to Zion and Bryce visiting family in and out through Vegas. Any suggestions of best off peak when weather is still nice, thinking 65+?

We went in October when the trees down low still had lots of color- there were no crowds or waiting. Air temp was around 60-65. Some shops had already closed in town but nothing we missed! The water temp was reportedly between 32-40 depending on who was reporting it, but in a drysuit it did not matter. I did "fall in" twice but we were ok and thoroughly enjoyed it.
