здесь можно поиграть в бильярд, но это такое нетуристическое место, в основном здесь местные, так что мы не очень комфортно себя чувствовали и довольно быстро ушли

Couldn't find this place.
Went to the location trip advisor says and it wasn't there.
Ended up going to the southern end of the air strip to his house which is now a kiwi bar. A few locals playing pool. Looks like it would be a good place to hang out.
Apparently Brad has Goin back to Nz for 2 years though so he isn't around.

Searched for this place to watch some sports - though it isn't currently operating as a sports bar, rather a local pool hall. Probably a nice place to play some pool and hang out with locals, though don't expect western sports on the television.

À noite, os bares são a atração de Vang Vieng. Kiwi bar tem um bom ambiente, música eclética e muitos turistas. Vale a pena visitar.

A noite tem pouca coisa para se fazer em Vang Vieng. Basicamente todos saem para beber! Muita farra e festa nos poucos bares da cidade! O Kiwi bar é tradicional e esta sempre cheio de turistas!

I didn't drink here but I did wander in one afternoon, with all my bags, completely lost and looking for my guesthouse.
The owner came out, tried to help and even offered me a lift into town when he heard I had been walking around with all my bags for so long...and because "rain is on the way."
A minute later, I was on the back of his bike and back in town....thanks Kiwi!!!

Stopped by today after reading about this place on trip advisor. Didn't find it too difficult to find, but the location has changed from what trip advisor lists. It is down the end of town by the airstrip and bus station. The owner was so welcoming and a good bunch of people were there to drink with. Pool tables and a nice, chilled out atmosphere. Locals come to this bar too which is great, it was fun too hang out with them and a welcome change from the usual tourist-filled bars. Had a great afternoon here, wish we were staying longer, would definitely go back here. cheers!

We had heard about the kiwi bar and tried to find it, turns out brad has now made his house into a bar! at the southern end of the airstrip by the bus station. Its well worth the walk out to be welcomed into his relaxed bar. We tried some local drink in which you suck through bamboo straws to get the cider tasting wine/whiskey throuh the fermented rice husks. Got there at 4pm just for a couple of beers, left around 11.

Great place to chill out, play your own tunes, huge TV with Sports channels, Big Pool table and a Great, Chatty, Friendly Kiwi owner with 2 Beautifull Golden Retrievers :-) .....

Guys where else would you want to drink! Cheap booze, Free Pool, take your own Ipod to listen to your tunes- massive tv with all the aussie sport you need plus european football ( this bar is actually better than the aussie bar when it comes to sport). Most days id actually just cruise in there so say hello and have a chat to Brad coz basically after a week or two he was just like one of the boys!
