An amazing time!!!! The highlight of my trip!! Never ending rum cocktails, gorgeous views and stops, and a super friendly staff!!! If you want to go snorkeling and are looking to have a great time choose salty dog!

This trip was absolutely amazing! We stopped at many beautiful spots and the boat ride was really smooth. The crew was incredible and made the experience so much fun! Mateo, Nomar, Paula, and the Capitan, Matthew were the best! They played music the whole time and the rum cocktails were delicious! 10/10 recommend!

The island you go to is a nature reserve and the beach is really beautiful. The guides were awesome and super accommodating. We saw dolphins and snorkeling over the coral reef was insane magic. Even though it started to rain it did not stop the fun. Highly recommend to anyone coming to Puerto Rico!!!!!

We went on Sunday 3/12/23. This was my 2nd trip with this guide. The 1st trip in 2019 was far better than this time around. Boat was too crowded. We didn't do any snorkeling. And it was NOT as fun.
My advice to anyone thinking of snorkeling. DO NOT buy any tickets without checking the rip current weather. It may be sunny, but it NOT necessarily great for snorkeling. If the rip tides bad 5 days prior to your plan trip, I can guarantee you it will be bad for days. Spend your money elsewhere!
For $102 pp just hanging out in one island (Icacos) was pretty boring. I wished the company offered discount since snorkeling was part of the paid price that we did NOT get a chance to do.
Boring crew, Crowded boat, Not much going on = Boring Trip.

Three generations headed out on the small catamaran to celebrate my husbands 50th. We had absolutely the best day. Nomar, our captain, showed us the beauty of the islands. We snorkeled the reef, visited Icacos beach, jumped in the waters off Palomino, saw many sea turtles and a squid ink it’s way out of danger. Nomar was able to cater the trip to 2 teenagers, 2 seniors, the birthday boy and his wife. Grand adventure. Thanks Nomar and the Salty Dog!!

This is a Caribbean gem is an exciting day on the sea. I'm 59 and sailed with my wife.
At no time did we feel like we were too old. The crew: Captain Tito and Paula and Mathew were a highly skilled crew that navigated the boat with ease, out to our destinations and back to port. The boat is comfortable and seems to attract nice people. Drinks and food were also good. Every passenger that sailed with us was very friendly and we chatted with several other passengers as we shared a day from heaven. The snorkling location was great. I saw a dozen different types of fish and crab etc... I can not say enough good about this trip. Book it!

Booked the morning fir an afternoon adventure. Entirely pleased with the booking experience, easy and quick. Parking was easy and the location accessible and very close. The Catamaran was clean. The Captain, to the Crew, were very professional, helpful, friendly and attentive. Accompanied by my infant children and the crew were extremely accommodating. The open bar and snacks were amazing and great for all ages. The staff members constantly catered to us serving drinks, food and ready to help you have a great time. The energy was amazing music, dancing and ambiance. The crew played baby shark and my little gems loved it, everyone sang along. It actually turnt the experience up for the “Don Q” participants. Loved It! I recommend you bring your playlist and set out with the Salty Dog for an amazing safe experience. I’ll be back!

The captain Josh and the other two guys made the trip a lot of fun. They were very attentive to everyone. Unfortunately it rained while we were out there and it ended up being cloudy the whole time. We did not get to go to the island and go snorkeling. That was no fault of theirs through. They tried really hard, the weather just did not cooperate. We still had a great time though! Hopefully we can do
E back to Puerto Rico again one day and be able to try this same trip again. The lunch they had, was good and the rum was even better!!

When at the beach are there umbrellas & chairs available for rent? If not, can we bring one with us? Are there restrooms available on the boat?

There was really no shade options on the beach at all unless you got back on the boat, so bring extra sunscreen! Bathrooms were available on the boat.

Hi, I was wondering if you offer lifejackets? Also, for the proof of vaccination, can I bring a copy or do I have to bring the actual vaccine card? I don’t want it to get damaged by water.

Yes they have life jackets and we just showed the negative results for our test. I’m sure you can show a copy or take a picture with your phone. You can also use a waterproof bag, that’s what we kept our cell phones and other stuff in.

Hi Tina,
Sorry for the delayed response. We have two tops for shade on both sides of the back of the catamaran. We also put up tarps to add additional shade once anchored at the island. Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Is there a full schedule of the day available? What time is pick up, how long do you spend in each area, when is the return time, etc.? I can't find a full schedule on the website. Thanks!

Departure from the marina at 10:30 am. Book ahead and the staff will let you know the pick up time.
First stop is on the beach for swimming and exploring the island for about 2 hours. Lunch is then served onboard the vessel before going to the reef for snorkeling, for about 90 minutes. Return back to the marina at about 3:30 pm.

Hello, they have 2 departure times 10am and 4pm. If you are only going to be in Puerto Rico 1pm-8pm you will not be able to book. Your cruise arrives in old San Juan and it's an 1.5 hour ride to the marina of departure.

Que pena no me llego notification de tu pregunta. Ojala no sea muy tarde para tu respuesta. Ellos hablan Español y Ingles. Si los que van no saben nadir ay flotadores abordo. Tambien en la primer parada es bajito y se puede para uno, pero asi y todo se puede pedir flotador. A bordo ay musica y area donde sentarse para alosliarse o sombra.
