I dove with a family member in mid-February. The staff were very appropriate and attentive. The dive sites are fine, nothing spectacular, but a good way to spend a morning. On our boat we were the only two divers along with about 16 snorkelers. A few notes - park in the lot across the street from the pickup site, as we were warned that parking on the street could end up in a ticket. You need $6 cash to exit the lot (no credit card option). All equipment was provided, but I’d recommend bringing your own mask (generally good advice anyways) as they only had one option available for use which didn’t fit well. The two dives are between 20-40 feet, with the deeper one along a reef as an out-and-back, so you can expect over 45 minutes on each dive. Saw turtles, rays, a few eels and of course lots of tropical fish.

One of the best experiences I’ve had. Edwin and Antonio were amazing knowledgeable tour guides. Definitely coming back!

I took my teen on his first snorkeling trip. He had a blast. The staff is patient and explained how to snorkel properly. In addition, they were entertaining and made it fun for all. We were able to snorkel in two different locations. Both locations were beautiful and full of fish. I highly recommend.

The excursion didn’t happen. Cancelled the day before due to “engine” problems via text, you would think there would be more than one boat. I had numerous excursions and got confused and still showed up but no one knew anything. Called the number and no answer and the mailbox was full. Awful way to conduct business. Provided a refund but no other alternatives to the one excursion we really wanted to do. Very disappointed.

Great experience yesterday with the crew!! CPT Michael Scott and his crew took care of us. Very friendly and professional. Took us to Palomino Island and to Icacos. We were able to SNUBA in both places. Awesome coral reef in Palomino and awesome fish seeing on Icacos. We left with great memories. The crew had all the equipment sanitized, used masks, kept physical distance between us and the other guest group, briefed us before boarding and before the dive; safety was their main concern. After the dive they segregated all used equipment into self contained bins, bottomline we felt safe and snacks were pre packaged and sealed. They went the extra mile to make us feel comfortable. Our kids loved it. Highly recommended.

My brother and I joined this trip as relatively inexperienced (though open water certified) divers. Our divemaster Alvin put us at ease. The whole crew was very efficient organizing and setting up the gear, which allowed us to fully enjoy the trip. We had no problems with the rental gear. We definitely plan to return to Casa del Mar for our next diving trip in Puerto Rico!

This was a great experience! My husband and oldest son spent three mornings getting open water certified with this diving team. I only have amazing things to say and I think it is primarily due to their amazing instructor - Tony. He was terrific and spent soooo much time helping them learn everything! My oldest son now wants to get his advanced certification!
I was worried at first because it is hard to get it set up with the front desk at the dive center, but don't give up! My family spent the month before getting their online learning done at home. A month before our vacation, I set up a time to do the pool training, and 4 ocean dives. They give you a discount if you do your certification with them. For three mornings in a row, Tony was there to help my family. (My younger son started the training, but had some ear issues so we stopped him the final day.) I was able to snorkel with them each day and loved that I got to spend the morning with them as they trained!
If you want to get certified, I highly recommend a vacation to the Conquistador and setting up a time with Tony! We have great pictures as well as great memories from our summer vacation!

The water temperature near Vieques and Isla palomino was good and comfortable around 78 F. The weather was beautiful, sunny, dry, breezy but enjoyable. The dive team, captain and instructor/guide were just awesome.. They knew where to go, what to do, They provided a delicious and varied lunch and drinks. Time intervals were adequate as the initial dive was only as deep as 60 and the second dive was 35. The ocean appeared overfished although there were plenty of smaller and colorful fish. The reefs are showing signs of bleaching as usually caused by human's carelessness and ignorance. Global warming is affecting every reef, everywhere. I would definitely use this dive shop and team again.

We did a half day snorkeling trip. The staff was great - very fun and knowledgeable. The equipment was in good condition and the boat well maintained. We want to try Snuba next time!

Staff was great; they really wanted to show the group a good time. Scuba, snorkeling and snuba guests are all combined on the same excursion. So, the diving was shallow. I'm not saying that a shallow dive is a bad dive, I just didn't expect it. The first site we visited "Seargent Major" was okay; the second site that we visited was off Cayo Lobos and has a nice reef with lots to see. The vis was not great when we were there but we had a good time.
