Yep, I discovered Corbin Powersports after missing a ferry too. It is THE place to visit on the east end of the island - knowledgeable, helpful, great people on a mission to improve the way Puerto Rico rolls (beautiful island, the Boricua (natives) fantastic, but yeah, they could use a little help....)
Please visit these folks and give them lots of business. Puerto Rico can't afford to lose them.

After missing my morning ferry I headed down the street to the first bar I saw to kill some time. When they very rudely informed me they were closed, the owner of Corbin Powersports invited me to cross the street to their place for a smoothie. Their menu was healthy and the smoothie was fantastic! The people working were super friendly and let me hang on their comfy sofa while waiting for my ferry. If you spend any time in the port of Fajardo, I highly recommend paying them a visit.

These guys are amazing. Not only do they carry awesome souvenirs and the worlds best waffles (honestly it's been 2 weeks and I'm still dreaming about it) but they are also genuinely good people that will go out of their way to make your trip great. You have to visit these guys for information, excursion planning, waffles and a good time!

It seems, like many others, that while experiencing the craziness and ultimately failure of the Vieques Ferry, we happened into the wonderful Oasis of peace and deliciousness that is Corbin Powersports. We had some smoothies, calmed ourselves, and they VERY graciously let us use their phone to call for plane tickets since the ferry was a bust. I just cannot say how nice they were to us. I would go back here any time I'm even close to the neighborhood!

I don't know what I would have done without the Corbins!! They are two of the nicest, most helpful people I have ever encountered while traveling. I was in a bad way after experiencing the chaos of the Fajardo ferry terminal and happened upon their shop. In addition to beach-related merchandise, they have coffee, snacks, an organic smoothie bar. They will even give you a ride to nearby beaches/attractions for a small fee. And for people who are afraid to take a chance on the ferry being sold out, call the Corbins and they will get the tickets for you. I can not sing their praises enough

I was pleasantly surprised when I found Eric and his place across from the corner bar to the left of the ferry building as you cross the street coming Culebra/Vieques.
I thought at first he was just an employee, but later learned he was the owner. Even though I was waiting for the next ferry in 2 hours, he treated me like his best paying customer and offered to keep watch on my bags while waiting.
He's got all the goodies for watersports and arranging tours, as well as free wi-fi and a place to rest your feet. (And he can tell you where the best pizza place is, too)
I've already referred some people to him when I was on the big island and would again. Check out his services.

Eric is very nice to deal with. He arranged our accommodations and tours in vieques and culebra so that we can have a very good time. Its located opposite to public ferry. He even got us tickets for ferry to vieques and culebra. Also he has very nice e-bikes for rental with power boost. Rent one to see how good a bike ride can be.
I highly recommend to use Corbin sports for all your needs.

Want to rent kayaks, bikes, paddleboards? How about a trip to the islands or an ice cream? They have this all here and are happy to help you get a last minute ticket or a trip. They're pretty cool people with a nice spacious location that feels clean and modern and they even hav free wifi to use while you wait for the ferry.
They also - Eric, Aaron and Natalie - help you get ferry tickets to Culebra, and let you SKIP the five hour line to do it, which is great. Def worth hitting up on your next trip.
