Fantastic water park. My family had a blast. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Pools, slides, and river were clean and well maintained. There is food available in the park that is kid friendly as well as items for more mature tastes.

The water park was so much fun, we enjoy all the slides, had the best time there, pools were clean. Enough lounge chairs for everyone, the staff there are great. Food was really good, and servers were so helpful providing us with ice cups to refill with water. Bathrooms were clean

Coqui Water Park was a great time and is a bonus feature at the resort! It is easy to get to and is a perfect way to spend a few hours at a great resort!

It wasn't crowded and the kids had so much fun. The lazy river was great. Only downside was there is a very "safe" kiddie slide and the bigger slides are only for those over 48".

The facilities are in perfect condition. The lifeguards do an excellent job ensuring the safety of visitors, appropriate for families with children of any age as well as adults; There is fun for the whole family.

I’ll never be too old for a waterpark. Our son and I had a blast on the slides and in the lazy River while my husband relaxed in the shade. You can have it either way, which is what makes this so nice. It wasn’t too loud or boisterous- there were some quieter spots. You cannot bring in food or drink, but there is a restaurant on site. Avoid crowds by going early or around 2pm to close (5:30 when we were there).

Seems like this venue can be hit or miss. Not hard to enjoy a water park after all. It was all miss for us. First the manager Marisa gave us a hard time getting in - we had hotel keys, confirmed on a list of active guests at the main resort, and room cards, but not the little paper wrist bands that we apparently needed - like going through immigration. Got sent back, up the funicular and back to the resort front desk, 30 min round trip. Then our oldest, who is short for her age and barely below the random 48-inch slide rule (for no reason - no seats, harnesses, etc.), got sent away from the slides, while her younger sister could enjoy them. Then we thought we'd give it another try on a different day, only to show up and find out the staff decided to close early that day because they felt it was quiet!? Still a few families there, and new ones showing up, and the staff simply switched off the water and told everyone they were closing. We asked one of the staff what was happening since the posted hours are different, and they explained that if it's quiet they sometimes just decide to wrap up early and let the staff go.
So yeah, it takes some doing, but it is actually possible to run a purely fun thing like a water park poorly enough that it becomes just annoying.

This is a beautiful, clean and well maintained water park. A great option and is only open to guests staying at the El Conquistador resort.

I thought the El Conquistador was closed after the hurricane... at least that's what the website says. Is it open? What other water parks are in the area?

I understand they were supposed to be re-opening very soon. I can't think of any other water parks, but there are a lot of other things to do on-site. We were only there for a day and a half. If we were there longer, we would have explored their private island but the boat charter stops pretty early into the afternoon/evening, so if you’re looking to do something, I might recommend doing that first. Then you can come back and enjoy the on-site waterpark. Hope you end up going and if so, have a great time!
