Excellent nighttime bioluminescence kayaking trip. The guides were engaged, helpful, knowledgeable, fun and were clearly touting safety as their top concern throughout. After going through safety instructions, you pair off into twos and enter the water to get in the kayaks. There are lights on the front and back of each kayak, though they are a bit dim. On the other hand, the guides were easily identifiable by bright red lights. It was quite dark — and you paddle for about 1.5-2.0 miles before reaching the bay. The paddling is a bit difficult due to the dark and overhead branches. The only critique that I had was that the guides could have tried to intermittently flash their flashlights a bit more so that we would have an idea as to where to expect the coming branches. Once at the bay, we gathered and were covered in a tarp so that we could appreciate the bioluminescence of the water. We then got to paddle around the bay before heading back. It was a very reasonably priced adventure with a terrific group of guides.

Kayaking through the canal to the bay and back wasn’t that difficult, and was very interesting at night! The guys (Palo, Angel, Eduardo & two others, sorry I forgot names!) we all very knowledgeable and helpful, and let us know the glow was temperamental. With tarps to block out light, we saw some awesome glowing in the warm lagoon. Highly recommended if you enjoy some peaceful adventure, just be sure to DOUSE yourself in bugspray.

This was one of the coolest things we have ever done. We did a night Kayak tour up river in to a lagoon with bioluminescent water. It was like putting your hand in a magic vat of stardust. The guides were knowledgeable and great leaders. I would do this again in a heartbeat.

Chris was exceptionally helpful, flexible and professional. We followed his suggestions, met him at the boat ramp and paddled up the channel past the university and across the open water to caracoles mangrove island which seems to be the primary focus of water lovers in the area. The water was crystal clear and full of colorful tropical fish. On the way there we watched pelicans diving for dinner and paddled through a boiling feeding frenzy. On our return to the boat ramp, this time with the wind and waves at our backs, after a quick phone call Chris returned with our car keys that he held for us.
He’s a great guy who will arrange a guided kayak tour or a bio-bay excursion. Give him a call if you’re headed to the southwest corner of the island.

Was traveling solo in La Parguera, and wanted to take a trip out to the mangroves and snorkel. Chris was super helpful and agreed to take me out on a private tour. Great tour for reasonable price. He's all about customer service, and will cater your tour to accommodate what you want. Highly recommend.

I been many times in La Parguera so I thought it would be as good as usual, but for my surprise I met this guy, Kris or Cristian,( however you want to write it) and she took us on a long and beautiful tour in La Parguera. He was able to answer all our questions, was in no hurry and was as friendly as can be. If you want someone that really knows how to make your tour be special call this guy, you won't regret it.

We wanted something special and private for our honeymoon trip of bio bay and we got the most amazing trip with Alex. It was just us, not packed in like sardines on one of those mass trips or dying like the kyakers were after hours of paddling. Alex made it so special and gave us a whole tour of a couple of cool secluded places where we really got to enjoy it away from the crowds. He can give the tour in english and Spanish and really knows his stuff. We will definitely be back to see him again. Couldn't recommend it more. Such a nice guy and overall fantastic trip. 10 stars!

This was a great experience all around. From my first contact with Kris, he made sure we were well taken care of, eve showing us a great local restaurant to have lunch before our adventure. We started our tour in the mangroves snorkeling through an amazing array of sea life. Kris pointed out little details we might have missed and helped us to appreciate the variety of organisms that make the mangroves their home. The location was perfect and one of the most beautiful places we've ever snorkeled. Kris thought of every detail, providing us a delicious home made dip and a variety of beverages for us to snack on.
We had a chance to visit a small island at sunset and Kris took some great pictures of us to remember our time there. After a wonderful dinner, we went back out on the water to enjoy the biobay. This was a once in a lifetime experience seeing the glow of the water as we moved through it. We had plenty of time to enjoy the experience in the beautiful water. Kris helped us to understand what we were seeing while also telling us about the area we were visiting.
We enjoyed our day so much we booked a kayaking tour with Kris the following day. We had a chance to paddle kayaks through amazing tunnels of mangroves, in crystal clear waters under the beautiful Puerto Rican sun. Once again, an amazing time with a great guide. A perfect place to see some amazing sights and learn from a fabulous guide. Don't miss your chance to experience this!

It was the first time doing a tour like this with family that visited us from NY. I was kind of insecure about the bio bay but Alex reassured me that it was going to be an amazing & exciting experience to trust in him & I did. No regrets at all. His service & attention was excellent, he took his time on explaining each detail of where we were & what we were doing. He made my family & me very happy & that's what was important to me. Thank you Alex for your dedication & attention.

An incredible personal experience we will never forget and are sure to do again. Our guide Kris and Alex helped to make this a special experience for us by indulging me in my proposal to my future bride. Enjoying the local scene on the sand bar was an excellent way to unwind with a drink followed by snorkeling around the mangroves. The guides allowed us to go at our own pace and were genuinely having fun along side us. They escorted us to a perfect spot on a secluded island with an unbelievable backdrop for our special moment. She said Yes!!!! And I have it on video. What can I say about BioBay??? You have to experience it the way these guys provide. Breathtaking beauty!!! Thank you guys for an awesome experience that the Mrs. and I look forward to doing again in the future as husband and wife.

There is no tours available in Fajardo it's all booked I have tours available for the Bio Bay at another location kayak or boat available.
