We took a flight over the alps to Milford sound had about two hours site seeing and lunch in Milford sound and return to Wanaka.

unglaublich schön. Absolut zu empfehlen 👍das Team ist professionell und flexibel, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Super nett. Ich habe in 5 Stunden mehr gesehen und gigantische Eindrücke gewonnen, als in 3 Tagen Autofahrt quer durch die Insel. Also 6 Sterne ! Das muss man sich gönnen. Auch die Piloten sind super nett.

Awesome. Outstanding. Amazing. Fantastic. Wonderful. Beautiful. All these words don't cover it. Our day was mind blowing. I will treasure these memories. This is a must. Flight/cruise.

We were amazed by our pilot he had such good expierience 5 years of working for the company. And 20 years of flying totally. His name was Ross .The view was incredible mountains and hills everywhere when you get near milford sound you also sea waterfalls. When you land at milfords town a bus takes you to a pier where they put you on a boat you can sea seals dolphins which is rare and whales which is very rare. If you are adventures take a extra pair of clothes and a rain coat because almost in the end of the ride you go under a waterfall which will soak you if you stand in the front outdoor part of the boat be sure to take your camera. To me I highly recommend this it is a very fun expierience.

I can't speak for the quality of their tours, because I wasn't able to go. I'm a solo traveller and wanted to do their Mount Aspiring & Glaciers tour, but because they don't run trips without at least 2 passengers they offered to upgrade me to the Milford sound tour if I could come on a day when one was booked. I took a four-hour bus ride just to take this tour, and then they cancelled on me the morning of. I understand that their offer to upgrade me was generous, and not something they had to do, but I was led to believe that I was confirmed,and overbooking then kicking me off without advance notice - I had to call them to find this out - seems unprofessional. Thankfully, I was able to book a tour with another company, or two nights in a hotel and eight hours in buses, round trip, would have gone to waste.

it turns out that Wanaka flightseeing is actually a booking agent for Southern Alps air, so book through either one. That said, it was so well worth it. We had signed up for a shorter flight, but they upgraded us to a longer one. That was a wonderful gift. They are very professional and will not take you up unless the viewing is good. If they say they are going up on a day, grab it be aus the next day might not work. They try hard to work with you and get you on some flight. You need to call the morning of your flight to make sure they are flying. The views are breathtaking.

We went on the last flight of the evening from Wanaka to Milford Sound. Our pilot was fantastic and we couldn't have picked a better time. The scenery was awe inspiring and it was a great way to see the most remote areas of the country. The flight enabled us to view Aspiring National Park as well as Fjordland. The route over Milford Sound was beautiful. Thanks for fitting us in at the last minute so close to New Years!

This was definitely a trip of a lifetime & one I will always remember. We were most impressed with all aspects of the trip to Milford sound. We were held off going until the afternoon as the weather in Milford was not at its best, not every company would have been so truthful & thoughtful especially as there was not a cloud to be seen in Wanaka. We flew in a little 6 seater aircraft over the mount aspiring national park which was breathtaking, followed by a 2 hour cruise down the Milford sound which was beautiful, viewing waterfalls & seals. Our flight back took a different route taking in Glenorchy, again fantastic.
This trip was amazing value & definitely the best way to see Milford sound. Highly recommended.

we had the most amazing day from start to finish, it was a surprise for our parents and they were blown away. Our pilot Blair made it even more memorable, as he was excellent at his job, and was so knowledgeable and just a lovely guy. It was lovely to have two different sights up and down, was a real smooth flight and breath- taking scenery. The cruise was great; to be sprayed by the sterling waterfall was needed as the day felt like a dream. Couldn't have asked for more, it was the highlight of our trip and would highly recommend to everyone. Keep up the good work and thanks for making our parents trip to NZ epic. From the Irish crowd!

This is a great scenic flight to Milford Sound. Seemed a lot better flying from Wanaka than Queenstown as the route there was more northerly with stunning views of mountains & glaciers. We also did the 2 hour cruise around the Sound - which is really more like the fiords as the mountains rise almost vertically to several thousand feet - plus lots of waterfalls. Also saw penguins and seals before a great return flight.
