Spanish Dancer Divers in Nungwi are simply the best! Our diving experience here was amazing, and we couldn’t have asked for a better team. We did a night dive and three dive days, and our guides Asis and Muha were absolutely fantastic – such warm-hearted, fun, and professional people.
The dive base itself is incredible – well-equipped, spacious, and efficiently organized. They have different boats and always planned amazing tours for us. From vibrant corals to muck diving, we got to experience a wide range of underwater wonders. We spotted everything from octopuses to mesmerizing fish schools, and we even had the rare and magical pleasure of dolphins joining us during one of our dives.
The day trip to Mnemba was another highlight – the dives were stunning, and we enjoyed a small, delicious vegetarian lunch on the boat afterward. And don’t miss out on their donuts and fresh ginger tea onboard – not only was the service impeccable, but these treats were absolutely divine!
A big thank you to Susan, who organized everything so smoothly and even gave us fantastic dinner recommendations. The whole experience was unforgettable, and we can’t wait to come back.

A great dive center, very professional and well organized, everyone is welcomed and everyone is super easy to be around .

Everything was great from the reception to the diving. Nice skilled guides. Sturdy boats with plenty of room onboard. Big boat I think is especially important when having som choppy sea. Good dives with a lot to see. For me personally the half day close to Nungwi dives were the best. Short transport a lot of diving and plenty to see.

Disgusting service.
I booked a day in advance on their website, the driver arrived on the scheduled date, but upon arrival they REFUSED to receive me because I did not know English.
Cuba, Sri Lanka, Maldives - always used PADI centers and only in Zanzibar refused.

Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We truly apologize that you were unable to participate in our Discover Scuba Diving course due to the language barrier.
Please understand that safety is our highest priority, and we believe it is essential for all participants to fully understand the dive briefing. For this reason, we are unable to accommodate divers who do not speak any of the languages that our instructors speak, as it would be difficult to ensure clear communication and safety.
We know that language differences can be challenging, and in the future, we would be happy to recommend a dive center with Russian-speaking instructors, should you wish to dive again. Please feel free to contact us in advance, and we will do our best to help you find a suitable option.
We sincerely hope you have a wonderful experience in Zanzibar and get to explore its beautiful underwater world!

We did the open diver course with Suma at Spanish Dancer Divers. He was wonderful and patient with us as new divers, leaving me feeling really prepared to handle whatever came my way during dives. Honestly great experience. Other staff was very friendly and helpful and deserves some praise, too! Would definitely pick them again!

Great experience with spanish dancer dive guys in Nungwi! Especially with Julio (our instructor) who was super pending and attentive in our dives (with me especially who had less experience) and with Lalo, giving us all the facilities to make the experience very good!!

I went there diving with 3 kids, 10, 14 and 14. two of the rook Open Water and the third some normal dives. As most people know kids can be a challenge as they are all over the place all the time. Spanish divers had the patience for them when they could not focus and learned them what they needed when they paid good attention. Spanish Dancing divers play it by the book and stick to the rules and regulations set by Padi. They also do a good job on the environmental side.
There is no shortcuts here on the safety side. Gear is new and of good quality, dive masters are well skilled, boats are big and spacious.

Bonjour , et meilleurs vœux à tous . Nous souhaitons venir en octobre 2018 et on voudrais passer notre padi , nous avons déjà plongée aux Seychelles dernièrement mais on hésite car on est pas au top en anglais . Hi Palo,
We have new and quality dive gear in all sizes.
As well, we do not charge extra for gear rental.
So, unless you have amazing gear that you love diving with it,
you might as well leave your gear at home and not over weight yourself with luggage.
