Une très belle équipe professionnelle de A à Z qui nous ont permis d'avoir une expérience de plongée inoubliable à Zanzibar.
Hamisi a grandement participé à la réussite de notre expérience grâce à son sourire, sa pédagogie, son humour et sa joie de vivre.
La séance d'entraînement dans la piscine nous a permis de nous familiariser avec l'équipement avant notre excursion dans l'atoll de Mnemba. On a beaucoup apprécié ce moment.

Tout d’abord l’hôtel qui héberge le centre est magnifique avec vue sur MNEMBA avec un très bon restaurant, même si le service est très lent…
Pour le club, très bon contact avec le manager Adam

Les récifs sur MNEMBA sont très endommagés mais quand même pas mal de choses à voir : nudi, poissons feuilles, crapauds, crocodiles, Napoléon, squilles , poulpe, etc
Une mention spéciale pour le House reef sur lequel, sous les tables servant pour la nurserie de coraux, outrés un banc de platax, Adam dénichera QUATRE RHINOPIAS !!! ( 1 Jaune, 2 orange et 1 sépia)

Thanks to all the staff at Dive Point - great two weeks diving with them. All the staff were very helpful, great guides and friendly. Great way to spend a day - diving in the morning and back for lunch and relaxing by the pool. The staff understood the needs of different divers - always trying to take people who had been there longer to new and different sites. Grouped divers with similar experience. All the guys on the boats were helpful too - overall an excellent experience. Thanks to Hamisi, Omari, Talaani, Salom (one and two) and all the guides who looked after me - sorry I am sure I have forgotten names!! Seeing dolphins underwater was the cherry on the cake!

Snorkeling sur menba atoll,
Une catastrophe écologique, nous pratiquons le snorkelling et nous avons été dépité par cette expérience. Une horreur , l'impression de plonger dans une piscine sur-bondée ...Les fonds sont d'une tristesse incroyable, il va falloir de nombreuses années avant de retrouver un équilibre écologique, même avec les nouvelles mesures qui ont été prises par le gouvernement de puis début juin 2023. Le bateau ainsi que son guide avait peu d'attention vis à vis de la préservation écologique .

I’m so glad I found Dive Point!! I was first referred to another dive center that was very famous Zanzi and I left without diving because their BCs looked so old and worn out I felt unsafe diving with it. And this is like THE dive center in Zanzi. On my way back, I found this neat dive center and decided to go and check it out. Boom! Their BCs and equipment looked brand new and their staff was extremely friendly and professional. All their BCs are Scubapro and when I asked them how come their equipment looked so new and flawless they told me that Simon, the owner of the place replaces the equipment every 3 months with new equipment. WOW!! I was so impressed with the safety and service standard. The dives were great and instructors were very nice. I will always go with Dive Point when I want to dive in Zanzi. Highly recommended.

We did some diving whilst in North West Zanzibar (Nungwi), and found the most amazing diving instructor at My Blue Resort, with Dive Point. His name is MJ, and you can’t find anyone better! He knows his stuff, and put us through a referesher course, then took us out to two dives in one day. He made sure everything was absolutely amazing, is very good conversation on board, and knows and loves what he does. Also had very good snacks onboard👌.
12/10 would definitely recommend and visit again.

So much good to say about this dive centre. Firstly the staff, all are really good, friendly and professional but a big thank you to our amazing dive guide Salom for giving us 6 days of pure joy finding us seamoth, ghost leaf pipe fish, frogfish, cow fish, leaf fish, seahorses, crabs, shrimp so so much marine life and finishing off with making dreams come true by swimming with dolphins when they arrived at the end of the dive, you are the best Salom, thank you. Thank you to Hanisi for always making sure we were OK and looking after us especially when Si didn't feel great. Thank you to Seahorse Rama and other Salom for constantly making us smile and for pointing out even more things under the water when we saw you. Thank you to all the captains and crew for also pointing out the dolphins and helping us on the boat and taking our gear and for the very cool guy on reception! You are all what make the centre great.
It's a true holiday as the equipment is set up for you, you just check it. They do good dive briefs before the dive. They check each dive site before you go in and will change it if it's not suitable. The boats are a bit of a challenge to get on and off but they are always there with a helping hand if you need it. If you're on the bigger pirate ship as we like to call it, you may want to take a hat as there's not a lot of shade but the experience of it is worth it , the smaller ketty, ketty one has loads of shade.
The equipment is really good and the majority of times you have more than 200bar in your tank. The dives are 50mins for all. If you are a lone diver you feel very safe and looked after by your guide. We were lucky to have our own dive guide most days. So many happy memories to take away. We stayed at the sunshine marine lodge hotel and it was perfect to dive from so highly recommend. Thank you team dive point!

As video filmer diver I got the best support I could imagine. Starting with repair of my diving computer up to expertly guiding to the best motives I could find the recent years.
Pick up was also no problem, one of the best dive experiences of the last years.

nous avons fait 12 plongées avec dive point, toutes sur des spots différents et toujours seuls avec un dive master. Equipe très sympathique et professionnelle. Nous étions du côté de Nungwi où les plongées sont fantastiques mais un jour nous avons pu aller plonger autour de Nmemba (le club s'est occupé du transfert inclus dans les tarifs ce qui est non négligeable). Un grand merci à Hamdi, Oscar, le capitaine et toute l'équipe!

Min kæreste og jeg har snorklet i flere lande, og selvfølgelig skulle vi prøve på Zanzibar. Vi fandt Dive Point, som skulle være dansk-ejet, og tænkte, at nu fik vi endnu en god oplevelse. Men nej…..
Vi betalte 120 USD for transfer fra vores hotel i Nungwi og 2x 45 min snorkling ved Mnemba.
Ved ankomst til Dive Pointets hotel tog guiden knap nok imod os. Først på båden fik vi at vide, at vi delte båd med andre gæster, der skulle dykke.
Vi var i alt fire personer, der skulle snorkle - Det var tydeligt, at vi kun var med for at fylde båden op.
Korallerne ved Mnemba var smukke, men oplevelsen i vandet var dårlig - Guiden fremstod meget panikken, og han var meget insisterende på, at ALLE skulle høre fiskenes navne. Han blev ved med at råbe ”look up” og “look down”, så ens fokus var på ham, og man derved ikke kunne nyde korallerne. Han råbte også “stay together, please”, selvom vi var så samlet i vandet, som det var muligt.
Da vi skulle gå fra båden blev vi overdynget med tasker, redningsveste m.v., selvom guiderne kun bar én taske hver. De havde travlt med at tale sammen. Uden overraskelse havde guiderne mere travlt med at stille sig under udendørsbruserne og hoppe i poolen, end at fortælle hvad der skulle ske og hvor materiellet skulle stilles. Ingen afrunding på turen!
Vil ikke anbefale til andre! Måske fin oplevelse for dem, som skal dykke. Men det var tydeligt, at snorkling ikke var prioriteret!.. Vi havde slet ikke lyst til at hoppe i vandet i de sidste 45 min.
Vi sidder med følelsen af, at vi har betalt overpris for oplevelsen, og at vi kun var med for at fylde båden op.
Får to stjerner for de smukke koraller. Oplevelsen og guiden trækker gevaldigt ned.

good morning, we will stay in the east coast (sea cliff resort and spa hotel), mid january , i can see thart it is one hour driving from your center, how could we get to the center ? (by bus ? Do we have to book before coming ? Do you have an email adress for communicating ? THANKS

La température est d'environ 26 degrés, le climat est bon avec une température aux environs des 30 degrés pendant la journée. Il n'y a pas beaucoup de vent à cette période.

Bonjour, nous avons des excursions pour la demi-journée, nous nous retrouvons à 8:30 au centre.
Nous partons pour deux sessions de Snorkeling de 45 min à une heure. Entre les deux sessions, nous faisons un break avec des fruits frais, du gâteau et du thé.
Le Snorkeling coûte 40$.
Où allez vous séjourner à Zanzibar?

Bonjour, nous venons plonger à partir du 12 novembre prochain.
Petite question sur la température de l'eau à cette période ? Quelle épaisseur de combinaison faut-il prévoir ?
Pour ma part, je comptais amener mon détendeur et ma stab. Je sais que c'est prévu dans le pack voyage mais j'ai un peu peur de la qualité et la fiabilité du matériel. Pouvez-vous m'en parler svp.

Bonjour Françoise, la température de l'eau est entre 27 et 28 à cette époque de l'année. Si vous êtes frileux je vous recommande une combinaison longue 5mm. Sinon un shorty 5mm suffira. Concernant notre équipement, il est entretenu régulièrement mais il est toujours plus confortable de plongée avec son propre équipement.

Sorry for late feedback. Best month are definitely March, April and November.
For accommodation, we loved marine sunshine lodge, peaceful and beautiful place to stay :-), even if it is far from most a entertaining places of Zanzibar

Hello. Thank you for the message and interest in diving with us. We are open in April so you are most welcome to join us for diving. As for the weather in April it is very difficult to predict it. It is beginnig of the rainy season so you can expect rains but it shouldnt rain non stop. Usually the rains are short. The real rainy season is in May. Also very often is is ranining in the other parts of the island but Matemwe stays dry. In September the chance of rain is smaller than in April but as I said before weather is very difficult to predict.

Bonjour,
Pour moi "marina loge" est le plus pratique car le club est dans l'hôtel, et comme les départs pour la plongée se font fonction des marées il est plus pratique d'être sur place ce qui évite le transfert .
En plus l'hôtel est plus sympa, par contre un peu plus isolé si l'on veut aller au restaurant le soir on est un peu condamner à rester à l'hôtel.

venez aussi plonger à Sharm el Sheikh, c'est le moment il y a peu de monde, beaucoup de poissons et contrairement aux bêtises que racontent les médias ici tout est calme.
