Birla Ghat is also amongst many ghats of Gangaji in Haridwar.
We had a stay at an ashram just overlooking Birla Ghat. It's a Bengal based ashram with extremely beautiful Durga Maa temple. One must consider this place for accomodation. (Extra reviews!)
Ya so like all other ghats, at Birla Ghat too Ganga Aarti is done every evening. It's much less crowded than the famous Har Ki Paudi. You can take part in the aarti. It's beautiful.

Nice scene and memorable experience. Huge Shiv statue. One can actually see the change in course of the Ganges from what it originally was. Offered a great picturesque view during dawn.

Вам обязательно нужно попробовать остаться тут вечером на пуджу. Они проходят каждый день. Начало в 16:30-17:00. На берегу Ганги совершают омовение и проводят пуджу с брахманами, которые сидят в отведённых местах, готовых к молитве. Стоимость полной пуджи с специальными лампами варьируется от 2000 до 5500 в зависимости от размера лампы. Омовение можно проводить полностью или просто омыв ноги, руки и голову. В определённый момент начнётся самое главное действие на берегу реки. Это невероятное по своей энергетике и красоте действие.
Очень рекомендую.

This is a famous ghat where one can relax and have a feel of river ganga... The view is majestic and crowd at this ghat is usually less as compared to the other ghats.. highly recommended

This ghat has also a beautiful view of maa Ganga .On one side Bholagiri Ashram is there.Its bridge is big and transport moving.

Well kept and really clean you can have a comfortable bath at this Ghat . There are iron chains to protect you from swift currents of River Ganga .

This is one of the most cleanest ghats on ganga river in haridwar... It is a divine feeling to sit around the ghat and see the ganga flow... highly recommended

This is one of the ghat which is near to Haridwar railway station. The ghat is small but clean. Shri Maya Devi temple is also at a walking distance from this ghat.

This ghat is located near vishnu ghat. This ghat is clean and people also come here for taking holy dip in river ganga. Chains/ good stairs located here to help you not to slippery in river when taking holy dip bath.

Very near to Railway station. Less crowded place than Har ki pauri, if you want to take a dip and carry out rituals.
