Der Taubenturm ist von weitem gut sichtbar. Sein nettes Aussehen hat er dem schönen Zwiebel Dach zu verdanken.

Pigeon tower with triple-secured port bastion, stronghold, historic "Freilichtschmiede" and modern monument to the brave women of Ochsenfurt. Is part of the medieval fortifications which enclose the town of Ochsenfurt with a square rampart. Between the pigeon Tower and the stronghold is in a broad niche a style faithful "open-air forge" built together with the lattice of the Tower creates a picturesque effect.
