The Jawi Temple is a huge shrine of Hindus of Indonesia. During my visit, I happened to meet many Indian Hindus also, who had assembled to offer prayers to the deity there. The top balcony of the temple offered an excellent view of the surrounding areas.

Good condition Candi (Hindu temple/shrine)
Seems maintained well and is easy to spot from the main road, or just to stop for a few minutes for those really interested. You can hardly miss it when on the road from Surabaya/Bangil to Tretes/Prigen. Not really a tourist attraction or extra-ordinary site but a nice piece of actual history to accidentally stumble upon. Seems free/unsupervised, just respect the religion if you want to visit within the gate (cover yourself a bit or use sarong, no access to menstruating women) and if a local shows you around and tells you some background leave a nice tip!

This is nice candi, located on the way to Trawas-Tretes-Prigen area... Located in Pandaan Area and easy to be found.
It's just a tall building, with nice area. You can climb directly to Candi and see anything inside.
The back of candi, you can see several area with small building. Unfortunatelly, I can't find any information or guidance details for this candi.

East Java has a fine collection of smaller temples. Those who enjoy seeking out historical sights, away from the tourist crowds, will find a lot to enjoy here.
Candi Jawi is a tall, elegant temple on the road to Tretes- one of Java's most under-rated hill resorts. It stands right alongside the main road from Surabaya to Tretes and is easy to spot. Dating from the fourteenth century, it is one of East Java's finest shrines.
