Great ski school with enthusiastic ski instructors. They look carefully at the level of the person taking ski lessons. Torchlight procession on the track through the village. Recommended.

Wir haben unser Kind ursprünglich für einen Halbtageskurs angemeldet.
Der Schikurs machte ihm jedoch so großen Spaß, dass unser Kind einen ganzen Tag teilnehmen wollte. Eine Änderung war sofort möglich! Ein großes Danke für die Flexibilität und die freundliche und sehr bemühte Betreuung! Ein besonderer Bonus für unsere Schikursteilnehmer nach dem Kurs war auch die Kutschenfahrt - Danke!

Staff are very friendly and are very patient when teaching you how to ski. They were always open to suggestions of what we could do and made the trip very enjoyable.

We visited Rauris for a week from the 8th to the 15th of February, and booked ourselves in with Adventure Rauris before arriving. We are two adults and two children, aged 8 and 6, and were complete beginners to skiing.
My husband and I opted to pay for 3 x 2 hours of private tuition, which we shared, and booked our equipment separately, and we chose the Package option for the children, putting them into ski school of four hours each day, over six days, with equipment hire included in the price.
The Adventure Rauris website was easy to navigate and booking the different options was simple. Mitch, one of the proprietors was responsive to enquiries and very helpful. We also happened to meet her on day one as I was having some issues with my youngest sons ski, and she swiftly fixed it with a smile and a high five for him.
The day we collected our ski equipment was clearly their busiest day in the shop, but nonetheless, we were served swiftly and efficiently and all the staff were friendly and welcoming.
The children then went straight to ski school, with enough time to drop them off and discover where they would be at lunchtime, before we needed to start our lesson.
Michel was our private instructor. He was cheerful and encouraging, even when I spent most of our first blue run on my back. He had spent the time getting us ready for the blue run and after a tricky morning and afternoon practising, we managed to find the rhythm he'd been teaching us.
The children were taught by Luuk, assisted by Thomas and later Michel. Thomas was fab. Calm, confident and cheerful. Luuk is their new hero. As we were beginners ourselves, over the week we often found ourselves on the same runs as the children. It was a privilege to watch Luuk teach. He seemed to understand each child's individual capabilities and so tailored the lessons for each. More capable children like our eldest were allowed more freedom and responsibility (such a navigating a hill on a blue run whilst the rest went around the side, and also staying at the back to be Luuk's eyes in case anyone fell), whilst those who were less confident (such as our youngest) were kept close to Luuk and worked with to improve confidence and ability. It was also reassuring to watch Luuk deal with issues such as a child falling from the drag lift on the nursery slope. He was calm and had rescued the child in a matter of seconds, setting them on their way again.
We arrived at Adventure Rauris on the Sunday as complete novices. We handed our equipment back on the Friday as competent (ish in the case of the adults) skiiers. We adults can now negotiate our way down a blue run (though we like to go slow), and on Friday, the children went on two short red runs!
We can't recommend Adventure Rauris highly enough, and know that we'll be back next year to put the children in ski school again. And maybe have a few more lessons of our own.

Received a discount for booking ski equipment on line. Prices were competitive. They offer heated lockers for the equipment that were perfect. We did both private and group lessons. The instruction groups were smaller that what I have typically experienced in the area. The local ski trails are great for instruction. The instructors went the extra mile and connected with our children, and we could see amazing improvement in their skiing after just five days. Overall, it was the best operation that I have experienced in Austria.

Wir waren in den krokusferien dort und waren sehr zufrieden mit dem Service. Unsere Kinder sind mit viel begeisterung zum Unterricht gegangen. Ich selber bin sehr unsicher beim skien und habe beim Privatunterricht meine Ängste Überwonnen und sehr viel (ohne Druck) dazu gelernt mit sehr viel spass. Wir sind sehr zufrieden mit dieser Schieschule und unsere Kinder wollen nur noch hier Urlaub machen. Ich habe bei anderen schieschulen schon schlechte Erfahrungen gesammelt und weiß, wie es ist,wenn die Kinder nicht mehr zum Unterricht gehen wollen. Viele Grüße Dorthe

In der Skischule waren alle sehr bemüht ein gutes und passendes Angebot für unseren 4jährige Sohn zu finden. Er hat sich dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Alles hat super geklappt. Danke an Ulli, Melanie, Julian und die Chefetage :-)

Urlaub mit der Familie - die 2 Mädels 7/9 für 5 Tage im Skikurs... Anfangs skeptisch weil große Gruppen (bis 12 Kids) - lief aber super ... nettes & kompetentes Team... super motiviert - Danke ... und sehr gerne wieder!

Super goede skischool, lieve en kundige leraren! Vooral Brian, Adi en Loren waren erg lief en goed voor de kinderen. Ze hebben echt een topweek gehad mede dankzij hun! We hadden ook het skimateriaal bij Adventure gehaald en dat was ook erg professioneel! Goed materiaal voor alle gradaties!
