Hi James, just wanted to thank you and your team for all your help with all of our ski equipment requirements over 4 trips this season, including my new boots .. with an excellent and expert fitting service. We’ve had a lot of fun and sport and exercise. Your advice and guidance in promoting the grandchildren to use poles for the first time made for a massive skill leap too. This last weekend was amazing... memory box stuff. Thanks for facilitating it! Wendy and Andy

The team here can’t do enough to help. They are very knowledgable and have a great deal of patience and understanding for a novice skier like myself. After my first two days skiing, I returned to the hire centre to discuss the fit of my ski boots and they couldn’t have been more helpful, listening carefully to what I was experiencing and doing their level best to address my issues which were more about my inexperience as a skier and how the feet and shins work with the boots, rather than the boots themselves.

Hiring skis can often be a painful process, with the promises made online prior to a trip often bearing no relation to the service and quality of skis received in store.
However, my experience with Vertical Horizons was excellent.
Prior to my visit, I received a friendly and detailed response to my email enquiry, which detailed the skis available to hire, the cost and the benefits of booking direct with them - including a discount, and inclusive ski insurance.
On arriving in resort, the service received at the store was friendly and efficient, the skis provided were as promised and proved excellent during the week.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Vertical Horizons to anyone hiring skis in Chatel and would certainly use them again should I revisit the resort.

From liaising by email before our trip to fitting and dropping off the crew at Vertical Horizons were first class. Helpful, friendly and very happy to tweak ski/board/boot setups during there week. Highly recommended.

Même s'il est vrai que le personnel parle essentiellement anglais et qu'il n'est pas toujours facile de se faire comprendre, surtout pour des tout-petits, le matériel est de bonne qualité et les personnes présentes sont très efficaces.

Always such excellent service here.
Our group of 12 hired boots, skis, boards, helmets etc.
Nothing was too much trouble, time taken to ensure everyone was happy and comfortable.
Only charged us for the time used (as some gave up early).
Cannot recommend highly enough
