What is there is very good, the area is clean, the gardens are well maintained. I would have enjoyed to see more gardens, including one or more small wet gardens to promote their use in home rain water management

Basically it’s a nice small flower focussed garden near the hospital and the city hall. When I’m back to work as an ER doc in the hospital I like to take a look around the garden. It’s a great place to meditate. To open you mind to the idea that almost twenty years ago six people died, dozens more got very ill and two thousand got moderately ill from water in Canada. Not sub Saharan Africa or a tropical rainforest. It make you wonder just how much food, water and housing security we really have. Think of places like New Orleans, California, Northern B.C. and you can see that we’re not nearly as safe as we think but we are often afraid of all the wrong things. If a two acre garden can make you think all those thoughts, it’s worth you time.

And, with a constantly running Artesian well tap. For a donation you can fill your water bottles with the lovely cool fresh water. "The Elixir of Life" :) Many people have visited just to sample the water. And hey, why not stay awhile, take a seat and enjoy the lush green grass around you, listen to the birds sing. Chillax.

This garden is beautiful and tranquil. The fountain itself is stunning. Parking is ample.If you are travelling through Walkerton, it's well worth stopping!

This is a memorial fountain in Walkerton that has a massive rock formation split wide open, hard to miss.
The water gushing out is supposed to be healing.
