Een dagtrip om nooit te vergeten. Redelijk grote boot met alle uitrusting die je nodig hebt om een dagje te gaan vissen. Vriendelijke kapitein.

On holiday in Tenerife, a spur of the moment fishing trip. I booked a half day morning session with sport boat raggie/rodman not overly knowing what to expect, it was just a few hrs out fishing, I'll take it as it comes, any good fish would just be a bonus. The boat was adequately equipped and the crew helpful, there is a toilet on board and cold drinks were provided. Remember it was only a 4hr morning trip, we sat next to the holding pens and caught some small horse mackerel for fish strips bait, then motored out to deeper water, fishing on the bottom hoping for bream etc. Bear in mind this was in between seasons, the tuna had moved out and still a bit early for marlin, though there was reports of two been caught this month, so they're on there way, just not today. Back to bottom fishing then, only a few small puffer fish and small sea perch caught, 100 meters down is a long way back up again for little reward but we had a few fish while out we were entertained with a turtle for about 30 minutes before he swam off so for our last hour 6 big game rods were put out, 8 of us on board, so 8 playing cards were put before us with numbers 1-8 face down, we each picked a card your number was your turn in line to play a big fish if they came.
lures trolled behind for a while, again this time we were entertained by a couple of large pilot whales before continuing with the trolling which came to nothing.
As said it's a bit early still. I personally enjoyed the morning out. But if you want a action packed marlin only trip then do some research first, like best time to go, best boat to book. But that won't be cheap.
I just wanted a few hours out fishing and that's what I got.

Went for a day of deep sea fishing, and we started out trolling (3 lines for 5 of 6 paid fishing guests.) Got out to the place where there were numerous other fishing boats, turned the opposite direction and went to the coast where we stopped at numerous locations (some a short as 10 minutes) and caught, what I call, baby fish (4-6 in) I wanted to throw them back, and the captain wanted to keep them- he took them home. When people pay to go fishing, they can't be appeased with baby fish. Would have preferred to stay out with the chance to catch decent sized fish.

Thank you for your review. sorry for your experience. my name is Dragos and i'm fisherman also, i own this business. regular time, i go out with people, i know exactly what you mean. i'm out for holiday 3 weeks and i let Tony (captain) to go fishing in this period. maybe he dont have same experience like me about fishing , but i will resolve this. anyway, 4 hours trip is not for fishermen,people who target big fish in atlantic, go in trolling for 2-3 days all day long. next time if you come back in tenerife, i will invite you with me to go fishing, cost free. and you will understand i like what i do and i'm professional. sorry i've not been there in this period and hope see you next time

Just returned from half day fishing trip with big game fishing and all in all a pretty poor experience. Mainly due to the following reason:
- Length of time actually being allowed to fish- of the 4 hours we were only allowed to fish for approx 30-40 mins as the rest of the time was sailing.
Having paid €150 for 4 hours I do not think this is a sufficient amount of time to provide any value for money.
In addition, although extremely pleasant, the 2 guys working did not keep us up to date with Anything that was going on and for a first time fisher this was particularly confusing.
This had the potential to be a great day out and was let down by the 'chase' of big game trawling rather than allowing the customers to do what they had paid for and actually fish.
Overall disappointing.

Well all the organization was perfect , booked by website www.biggamefishingtenerife.com , get in contact with manager , fixed all , nice people, profy and friendly , they fixed for me also accomodation as i came from italy with 3-4 friends , we been in a nice bungalow with swimming pool , and then great 2 days fishing , and lot of fun in tenerife ,

I was half day fishing with my wife and it was excellent, professional crew. Featured in the south of Tenerife in port San Miguel Golf del Sur. Big Game Fishing Tenerife recommend.

1 hour private charter - 125 euros, minimum 4 hours
big game fishing target will be wahoo, dolphin fish, tuna and marlin
bottom fishing target - lot of species more than 20 different species.
