My 8 years old son did two days of junior holiday club, which included kayaking, canoeing, climbing, fencing, and paddle boarding. He said he had the best time ever and was sad when it was over. He gained confidence, made new friends, and his fitness improved!

Recently discovered this centre and really enjoying the swimming . Feels very safe with life guards dotted around the lake and plenty of other swimmers. Looking forward to more swims over the coming months!

It was a great place to leave my 14 yr old for the day. creative activities, including Kayak, paddleboard and fencing! He was asleep by 6pm so they certainly burned his energy. Would recommend.

I am new to this place and fall in love, it’s so tranquil and relaxing. Beautiful lake. The staff are very helpfull and pleasant.

Fantastic lake to swim (I also paddle there on iSup). Staff are friendly, safety is paramount and water is clear and clean. Shallow enough in places to stand (by first body for example). Love it-a hidden gem.

Robin hosted 5 of us for a 2-hour beginner's SUP lesson. He was friendly, patient, methodical - and he obviously knows his stuff. He had us all up and powering through the water in no time.
The facilities are great and even if you have to rent all the equipment, follow-up session are extremely good value. Highly recommended.

Lovely lake for swimming with a clearly marked 250m and 500m loop. I felt very safe with lifeguards on paddle boards who checked in with me when I stopped for a rest.
This was my first time swimming here and everyone I met was really friendly and helpful.
I only wish this lake was closer to where I live. Thoroughly recommend.

What a find,
Need to get some open water swimming in. This is perfect, the place has a great atmosphere and the hosts are very friendly, and helpful , the lake was nice and still.

We had a very experienced trainer, Nicola who took time to show by example how to complete all the training, looking after the group with mixed experience, making the course worthwhile for the 3 who had paddle boarded before and for those who never tried paddle boarding. A great experience.

I took my 9 yr old Grandson to a Kayaking session, he’s never done it before,he absolutely loved it, really had a brilliant time, and learnt a lot too. The staff / instructors were very friendly and welcoming. Great afternoon out, he’s very keen to go again during the next school holidays
